Why does city council want pomona to be gentrified so badly?

They want to clean up holt blvd . I don't think holt blvd can be changed . The new apartments are overpriced. The economy is not doing well . People are losing their jobs

Pig thrown into crowd at The Haven?

Coming here to see if anyone else heard about this. Last night a baby pig was brought in through the restaurant Hen & Heifer, where it was then thrown into the crowd at the Haven. It defecated on the floor and I’m unsure the status of the pig. Looking to see if anyone has any insight on how to report this.

Does anyone in pomona think we are living close to the end times, birth pains

I am not a Christian. All of the 10 recent earthquakes all have around 7.0

7 is the number that represents God in the bible .

I believe life on earth will get worse before it gets better

Do you think Pomona will become more of a dystopia before becoming gentrified

Pomona is not gentrified yet because pomona is still a blue collar community with a lot of homeless people

With Ai and data centers becoming more common because of people relying a lot on technology. And Ai taking people's jobs and a lot of people are losing jobs

Fox theater? (AC, quick pass, etc?)

Hi I have barely ever been to Pomona but I am going for The Living Tombstone.

I got GA floor AND quick pass. Pit was sold out.

How is quick pass? Doors open at 7. Do they let in quick pass 30 mins prior? Are the quick pass lines usually still long/packed? i want to get the best view I can lol.

Is it hot? Is there any AC at all? I have handheld fans I will likely bring. I am concerned about water is all. Last concert at Fonda I was at had people passing out from heat (I almost did too) but they at least handed out water during the show. I overheat easily haha. I may be going solo too so just concerned ab that.

Nice place? Chill staff? Street parking? Idk. Any tips or replies appreciated :)

Winco no longer open 24/7

This change apparently started this week according to Google reviews. Now if you need to cook a steak or get fresh produce at 4 am in the morning your only choices are to drive to Lakewood or Fontana. I can’t think of another 24/7 grocery store in the LA region.
