Webcomic Creators & Fans Have Spoken!
The Creators and fans have spoken. They want their comics on a platform that offers consistency, control, and opportunity.
The Tapas shut down is an upheaval. The Marvel migration is an acknowledgement that fans expect more. It all demonstrates and validates why PopJoy.app exists.
PopJoy is an ideal home for independent webcomic creators and their fans. Creators can tell their stories in new and exciting ways – adding animation with free, non-GenAI, easy-to-use tools – engage their fans in ways they aren’t able to on legacy platforms, and fans can support their favorite creators from the moment they publish.
PopJoy’s business model is like YouTube’s, without the gatekeeping and subscriber requirements. We support community. We support independent creators.
PopJoy is the ideal home for webcomic creators and their fans because it was built with, for, and by webcomic creators and their fans.
