How to get a job

Hello everyone,

I have been applying for all kinds of fast foods and have not been able to find any jobs. I took a phlebotomy class thinking I could get a job with it and I could never. Is there is someone who knows a position open here, no matter what???

Thank you!!

Our Congressman, when asked about other amputees in war zones.

He's really trying to provoke the guy filming into assaulting him. "Do something about it." Then celebrating about an event that, yes killed terrorists, but also killed and maimed civilians, including children. Is this who we really want representing us? Let's not forget that he also wore an Isreali uniform into the halls of Congress.

Toxicity In Our City

  1. Defamation of character of over a dozen longstanding students, alleging fraud and theft when students cancel their memberships

2) Sexual harassment and hazing/abuse of young competitors, lewd and lascivious comments plus molestation in private settings, joking about raping unruly competitors, choking students unconscious as a funny joke, exposing their genitals

3) Open discussion of suggestive themes around teens and children after class, discussions about open relationships, swinging, butt plugs, penis sizes, and continued support for known sexual abusers

  1. Verbal manipulation of students to never cross train, only be loyal to one coach, "with me or against me" behavior, squeezing information out of students who do cross train, injuring students or choking them unconscious, claiming it's to protect their students from abuse (the irony)

5) General cult behavior: attendance cards, bowing to pictures on the wall, promotions for those who "buy in", can't deny rolls from upper belts, can't visit other gyms, must wear their apparel (and it's expensive), outrageous drop-in fees

6) Slandering parents and students during class in portuguese, calling certain parents "fat, stupid, bitch, and pig" (I was one of them) + calling students similar names

  1. Coaches/higher belts sleeping with students/other coaches, 13 year gap with a senior in high school, black belts dating blue belts, encouraging promiscuity

Therapy for Teen

Friend of mine is having trouble finding a therapist for an early teen daughter. She's very intelligent, kind of a "too cool for school" personality. Needs someone that won't baby her, but gives her an outlet and some insight on issues that she has trouble understanding or bringing up to a parent.

Thank you.

Family In Need of House Rental

Hello,

Family of 4 (mom, dad, and 2 boys) moving to Port St. lucie unexpectedly for my wife’s new job. Looking for something around $2500-$3k monthly preferably for 2-3bdrs. We have 1 dog. I’m posting here because I am exhausting all options hoping to find someone with a house rental that fits my family but would also be willing to negotiate on move in costs because of us moving abruptly we are in need of flexibility. Thanks in advance.

Weekly Lawn Service in 34952

I need to hire a professional weekly lawn service, paid Monthly! And included in that monthly price, is lawn service every week regardless of how many times your day of the week occurs in that Month… NOT just 4 cuts a month for that price!

I need someone reliable & professional. Someone who actually shows up every week without having to ask. No random excuses or side-gig fly by nighters.

Mow, Trim, & Blow… no hedging needed. I need someone who actually cleans up after themselves when done, and doesn’t leave huge clumps & piles of lawn clippings scattered throughout the lawn.

Any recommendations?

Volunteering in Port Saint Lucie

Hi everyone! I'm a college student in the Port St. Lucie area looking to get involved with a local nonprofit or community organization. I'm hoping to find a place where I can volunteer consistently and make a meaningful impact, whether that's working with underserved communities, food insecurity, youth programs, seniors, or other community outreach initiatives.

I've already reached out to a few organizations, but I'd love to hear recommendations from people who have volunteered locally or know of nonprofits that are looking for reliable volunteers. I'm willing to drive anywhere in the Treasure Coast area if it's a great opportunity.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

How to get rid of flies

Hello,
I am in the floresta / crosstown area and this year the flies are BAD! We are diligent about picking up after our dog and maintaining our property to where there are no obvious causes for why the flies are so bad. Anyone else experiencing the same and tips on how to get rid of them (keeping in mind I do have a dog and toddler) Thanks!

Fiber Arts Club Update

A couple of weeks ago, I posted here about potentially starting a local fiber arts group (crochet, knitting, embroidery, sewing, cross-stitch, needlepoint, etc.).

Well, we actually got a little something going! A few of us met up recently, and it was a lot of fun. We got to share our projects and learn about different hobbies. Some of which I didn't even know existed.

I wanted to make another post to see if anyone else might be interested in joining. Since my last post, we've started a Discord Server and a Facebook group. We don't have an "official next meetup planned just yet, but we'd love to keep growing the community and just have a space to share projects.

If you're a local fiber artist or know of anybody else that would be interested feel free to join. We'd love to have you! 🧶

Pole barn construction recommendations

Anybody do a pole barn? Thinking about one for parking my boats and lawn equipment under. Permit aren’t required if it’s not concreted. Anyone do a DIY kit? Or pay for one with grading and rock underneath?
