It’s a massive reality check for us as Pompey fans. We’ve spent years fighting to get back to the Championship, and while we’re all buzzing about our squad stability under John Mousinho, our rivals have got the financial pull to throw offers at elite European coaches like it’s nothing. It shows we can't afford to be naive. The sheer spending power and desperation at clubs like Watford means every single weekend next year is going to be a proper tactical battle against guys with massive CVs.

Been trying to put something together to the tune of "Jesus Loves the Little Children". Two efforts so far are:

And the cheating Scummers had to stay at home.

All the Scummers couldn't go to Wem-ber-ley.

Any thoughts or suggested improvements?

Honestly, just the thought of three sides of Fratton Park singing something like this for 90 minutes when the Scummers come here next season, makes me make little squealy noises.

The club have a once in a generation opportunity.

Supply all home fans with some cheap binoculars for the home match vs scum.

Anyone have info on the supplier for next year? Assuming it will still be Nike as nothing has been released.

I would love a change to something like Hummel to get a bespoke kit, the Nike templates are becoming a bit boring.

I’m a dc united fan and think I’m excited about getting Dozzell but haven’t made up my mind. You can only see so much from stats and highlights and I don’t have the time to watch full game reruns. What kind of player has DC just got, overall thoughts, play style, etc.

Every Pompey fan has one. The game, the goal, the season, the moment in the stands where something clicked and you knew this was yours for life. What was yours and how old were you when it happened?

I was very surprised at how few players have been released, but then again we did have a lot of loan players here. That means that anyone that does go is likely to go for a fee, even if it is nominal (e.g 6-12 months left on their contract).

Great to see Marlon and Zac signing on again. Zac I don't think gets enough credit, he and Ogilvie were criticised coming up from League 1 for not being up to it and I think they've proved the doubters wrong. I thought Zac also did a great job deputising at left back when we needed him too this season with (I think) two great goals.

Let's see who else stays and who goes for a bit of cash. Particularly looking to see which of the Aussie boys decide to kick on to the next level here or perhaps head back home.
