Literally what the title says, and I did it that way to avoid hate lol. I'm liking the show so far but I genuinely wanna know who asked for this to exist? Fans? R&M writers? The execs? Would love to know the true origins and whatnot

This show has tought me a lot about leprechaun which was pretty much everything since i only knew a small tiny bit from aqua teen hunger force.
But never have i seen vampires do this. I dont think they even show what it does. Do they shoot out their teeth or something?

When we think Secret Service, there are a few character design choices that tend to stick around. Dark suit, earpiece...and, for the purposes of this post, the most distinguishing accessory: a pair of dark glasses.
My kneejerk reaction to hearing O'Doyle was Secret Service was that he doesn't much look it. I've been so conditioned to think "Presidential bodyguards = mysterious sunglasses" that it just seemed strange to me. And for a guy that hates his supernatural heritage, you'd think he'd want to cover up the one feature on his face that immediately marks him as Other (slitted pupils when everyone else is asterisks).
But that's not who O'Doyle is. He hates deception, trickery, dishonesty...hiding part of his face, even if it would make him more "human-passing", would fall into that category. He'd almost be lying about who he really is.

Refer to title, my thought voice is now presidents Curtis' voice I dunno man.
I watched a few episodes of Rick and morty back around 2014-2015 or so (first couple of seasons) and i think I saw president Curtis in one of them. Its been a while. But haven't seen the rest of the seasons.
But is it the same voice actors as R&M? And also does O'Doyle and Banks also appear there or just this show only?
And one thing I noticed so far, episodes 2 and 3 end with President Curtis in the shower and some credits show for a few seconds and then they show a small preview of what happens at the start of next episode I think.
Do they do that with all episodes?
How come no one has mentioned that O'Doyle's stomach can turn weird metals into stuff? That is such a fun character detail.
I was watching episode 1 of President Curtis and, once they reached the bathtub joke, I thought holy shit that sounds familiar.
And it WAS. Turns out Dan Harmon riffed it out during a Guest Grumps episode.
He was such a fun, eloquent guest, and GG's cat in the hat playthrough is one i've rewatched more than once. There's a certain je ne sais quoi about the jank gameplay and their comedically-dysfunctional commentary.
Not even that many episodes in but I've just been sitting here smiling at my TV and I haven't genuinely had that in awhile. I don't think my expression has even changed much.

Just finished the new episode and the credits say this is episode 105, looks like something got reshuffled.
I also noticed early on that when Banks is scanning the attic, it cuts before we have enough time to read the last item. Maybe part of the reshuffle caused some editing quirks.
That's all I wanted to say. Perfect casting! I hope she voices her again.
