Hi. I wanted to show you my first print and also the first model I’ve ever painted. It’s a work in progress. I’ve been at it for a while—and it’ll probably take ages to finish—but I only work on it when I’m really in the right frame of mind; it’s something that really helps me unwind. Anyway, enough about that. I’d be really interested to hear what you think of it, and even more so, where you think I should focus next or where you’d add a detail or two. I realize this is just the base for now and there’s still a lot to do, but since I’m new to this hobby, I’m not entirely sure where I should go from here. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Hi everyone!

After months of sculpting, planning and worldbuilding, we're finally getting close to launch our very first Kickstarter project. We're a small two-person studio building The Forgotten Chronicles - an original fantasy universe inspired by ancient forests, forgotten spirits and Slavic folklore.

Our first character is Cerynea the Flowerkeeper, available as both a full pose statue and a display bust. Everything is hand sculpted and prepared as high-quality pre-supported STL files for resin printing.

Rather than creating just another STL campaign, we wanted to build a world around it. Every backer will also receive the opening pages of The Forgotten Chronicles lore book, introducing Veleshorn and the beginning of Cerynea's story.

As the campaign grows, we'll unlock new content including:

• NSFW versions
• New poses and busts
• Additional asset packs
• More surprises from the world of The Forgotten Chronicles

This is my first post here. I've been lurking for a while and finally decided to share my first project.

This is a resin-printed and hand-painted statue of Tali'Zorah from Mass Effect (Model by Bulkamancer).

This was my first resin print, and I made a rookie mistake. I left the parts under the UV light for too long after printing, which made the resin extremely brittle. A few pieces broke during assembly, so I had to repair them and repaint the damaged areas. 😅

Lesson learned: I'd much rather slightly under-cure a print than over-cure it.

First off, here’s my finished Tenjin Bust. It is one of the fine models from Blackforge gaming.

Looking back, I should have chosen a darker color palette for the armor to better show off the armor, or I should’ve spread the secondary lighting a bit more.

Anyway, I’ve been using anyvubic 14k texture resin for these sculpts and other 1:6 or 1:10 scale projects and I consistently get failures. Is texture resin better for smaller scale like 32mm?

Gonna try more stuff at this scale with abslike resin in hopes that I get less cracking or pieces falling off of the supports.

CnC on the model is welcome. Not sure what subreddit there is for this type of stuff.

So this is someone named Felicia from something called Darkstalkers, I think. Mostly skin painting practice. Lots of post printing/sanding misses and didn't get great fits on the parts, but pretty happy with the skin tones overall.

Since I’ve started painting my prints and hadn't found a good way to prop the parts up while they dry, I designed my own solution. The units can be expanded using connectors and customized to fit your workspace. When the connectors are inserted but no additional plate is attached, they act as stabilizers. Another advantage is that it can be stored compactly. Perhaps someone here will find it useful.Someone might appreciate a solution like this.

Aside from the lighting I use for painting, I don't have special lighting. It's a challenge to get good and consistent photos especially with dark paint colors.
