Me and my friend have been working on a server to host our own Minecraft events and right now we don't have a lot of members so that is why we are advertising it here.

We will host our first event once we reach 100 members and we will also be trying to fund prizes for the winners as well.

We are also running a giveaway for the next 2 weeks so be sure to check it out.

Why does Vulkan always crash my game??

The new operating system for Minecraft is Vulkan and I'd really like to use it as my pc has some framerate issues with openGL however when I switch it over to Vulkan it gives me this crash code:

What if Prism Launcher let you create instances for Minecraft Bedrock?

I was thinking about it yesterday, wouldn’t it be nice if Prism let you create instances for the Bedrock Edition as well?

Yes, I agree that Java is much better for serious gaming. But every now and then I let myself get carried away with some really casual gaming and I also open the Bedrock Edition.

And that’s when I had an idea: what if, purely by chance, I wanted to see what the Bedrock Edition was like when it was still called ‘Windows 10 Edition’, or in the very early days of the current Bedrock Edition, without affecting the default Bedrock Edition installation and by having a completely separate installation?

проблема, не находит версии и версии установщиков.

(простите за грамматику, 12 лет) Я спокойно играл в майн на призм, после закрыл ее поел возвращаюсь, открываю, запускаю версию а там она не запускается, решаю переутановаить (комп тоже перезагружал) все ровно также. В душе не чаю что делать, брендмауэр выключал, днс включал, сидел с мобильного инета, все без толку. /( Sorry about the grammar—I'm 12.) I was playing Minecraft via Prism Launcher without any issues. I closed it, had a bite to eat, came back, and tried to launch the version, but it wouldn't start. I decided to reinstall it (and restarted my PC, too), but the result was exactly the same. I have absolutely no idea what to do; I tried turning off the firewall, changing DNS settings, and using mobile data, but nothing worked.

how to make two instances recive seperate input in minecraft?

at the start i wanna say that english isnt my first language so sorry if i explained something poorly

I wanna play minecraft java edition with my sister on one pc

I have two monitors and made two instances

I am logging on from my bought minecraft account on one instance and from here guest account i made on another

I am hosting a lan server from my premium account while i join on the guest account

everything works the guest account can join and i can see her in game

the problem is that because i dont have a second mouse and keyboard she has to use a controller

when I click on her instance to make her controller input work it looses focus on the other instance and the input from the keyboard doesnt work

but when i click back on my instance to make keyboard input work again it doesnt input the controller onto hers

I am basiclly asking if there is a way to make my pc be focused on two instances at the same time while one recives input from the controller and the other from the keyboard

Some Guidance fixing my Realms/ Version

Hi! I use Prism Launcher on my Steam Deck to play on my Minecraft account and servers, buttt I am very much an amateur gamer 🤣 I just followed the tutorials and understood that I would need to update my versions of minecraft and the mods. But I haven't been able to play for a couple months :( I tried my best to fix it with advice from this community but I am still confused. These are the errors I receive when I try to startup, keep in mind that I followed the most recent prism launcher steamdeck tutorial exactly after uninstalling it. Any help is appreciated, as a user who isnt too aware how to use it to its full potential lol. One day we will get to the fancy mods but for now I still need to be able to fix the controller compatibility 😅🥲

Update: Hi Thanks for the help so far. Unfortunately, reddit wont allow me to respond with more video or pictures for some strange reason so I understand that It's hard to help. Previously I had my version on 26.2, but the realms error message still said I was incompatible due to my version being 1.21.8, even though that was not the case. I tried updating my mods but then received an 'Incompatible Mods Found!' message without starting up. I'm going to go over the tutorials for the mods I have to see if that helps. But for now, since I cannot send the full logs :/ I will ask a friend for a helping hand as they use prism launcher on PC. ;)

FINALLY UPDATE: As annoying as this is for me 🤣🤣 I'm glad it was a simple fix. I think the video tutorials I was linked to from prism launchers website are a bit outdated. I ended up creating a new instance based on the DESKTOP instructions and it automatically works! This was probably super easy for some to figure out but as confused as I was I appreciate all the help and feedback, learned more than I knew before. Thanks yall 🥰

I play on Linux Mint and just switched from version 1.21.10 to 26.2. I thought it might be an issue with Altitude, but this is happening both on singleplayer and multiplayer, I crash every time I try to join a world. Missing 26.4 Update

Hello all minecraft players, I was wondering if any of you are playing the latest minecraft version which is 26.4. I use a prism Launcher and in instance i don't see the latest version 26.4 it has 26.2... I was wondering if it takes time to come on the launcher or is it just me?

"Mount: /tmp/.mount_PrismLdcKGGH: can't find in /etc/fstab."

I've been getting this new error after installing PrismLauncher on my second computer. On my 1st, it starts just fine, nothing to note, required no special configuration. Now upon downloading, making the AppImage executable, and executing, it yields this error. What's wrong? I've even tried a clean install of the operating system.

Limited to 176 FPS only in Minecraft, while other games reach full 180 Hz display

I have a laptop with native 180 Hz screen, NVIDIA RTX 5060 and Intel integrated graphics, display runs through Intel.

All DirectX games run perfectly at steady 180 FPS.
Only Minecraft Java (OpenGL/Vulkan) caps at 176 FPS when using V-Sync or frame limit matching the screen.
Unlimited FPS works fine and hits ~360 FPS normally, with regular small frame drops as expected, proving my GPU performs at full capacity.

This happened after an Intel graphics driver update around October 2024. It looks like the new driver enforces rounding to multiples of 8: 180 is not divisible by 8, so it gets reduced to 176. Before that update, Minecraft reached full 180 FPS correctly.

I already tried rolling back drivers, setting NVIDIA as preferred GPU, using NVIDIA Inspector, display mode changes and all possible in-game settings — nothing removes this limit.

Attached screenshots show: capped at 176 FPS, unlimited reaching ~360 FPS, other games stable at 180 Hz, and driver details.

Has anyone else had this exact issue? Is there any way to bypass this rounding rule or restore the old driver behavior? Could this be fixed in future updates from Intel or Minecraft?

Getting Minecraft to work on Steam Deck

I cannot for the life of me get Minecraft to work, either using the Official Minecraft Launcher or with Prism Launcher using Controlify.

I have to admit, I'm not very good at navigating things on the Steam Deck, I'm not very technologically aware in this vein.

When I try to play with the official Minecraft Launcher, the controller (the built in joysticks/buttons/etc on the Steam Deck) works on the menu and such until I actually get into the game. Once I have a world loaded, I can't move around at all. I can't jump or walk, I can only look around using the camera and use the right trigger to mine whatever's close enough.

As far as the Prism Launcher goes, I cannot for the life of me get the controls to work at all. I get the error that pops up saying the controls were disabled because it's conflicting with the mouse and keyboard.

I tried getting my partner to help me (He isn't much better with this than I am) and he helped me go into the controller layout settings in Game Mode on the Steam page to put all the inputs to "None", as I found recommended somewhere. This didn't fix anything unfortunately.

I am at a loss and I don't really understand what I'm doing well enough to describe what I have tried/what I might be doing wrong.

At some point in the past I did actually manage to get it to work, but I stopped playing for a while, came back and tried to start a new instance and I think I threw out everything I had somehow managed to do right. I don't even remember what I did last time that worked?

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Software crashing on launch.Help.

Using (g)enp for ps and illus. But they keep crashing on launch. I have the latest (g)enp and ps I'm trying to go for 26.11.6 cuz apparently my pc's not compatible for 27. Regardless i have tried to follow the guide to the best of my abilities but I don't know why it keeps crashing on launch. Just a millisecond go the opening tab and then close.

Anyone know the best way to contact someone who works on prism launcher privately?

I might’ve found an exploit to play the game for free without signing in. I don’t want to post it anywhere publicly (I’m not sure how GitHub does reports, I don’t ever use it so I’m not sure if reports are public or not), incase people somehow find it and abuse it. I don’t want any legal trouble to come to the team working on the launcher or for it to get shut down because of this. Would the discord server be the best option to get into contact with someone?
