Warning about what's happening in the Plato community

I'm posting this to warn others about what's happening in the Plato community.

A discussion started in the Plato Discord about adding an Israel flag as a badge item (many other country flags already exist). Instead of a normal debate, English server leader "Rose" went completely off the rails: check both screenshots

When the targeted user tried to report this, Plato backed Rose completely. All emails and messages were ignored. Rose even boasted saying take screenshots: "you won't be able to report me or take action" — because she knows she is backed by fear and skulkingfox.

Here's the bigger issue: Instead of moderating the chat fairly, the leaders and devs are actively taking sides. Leaders shouldn't be engaging in political topics publicly in the first place — but if they do, they certainly shouldn't be threatening users or making false accusations. Rose crossed every line, and management protected her instead of the victim.

This isn't about the flag anymore. It's about a community leader threatening harm and making false pedophile accusations, with management protecting her instead of the victim.

people of Israel, please enlighten me.

i’m so confused as to why do u guys hate palestine so much. and why israel continues to kill children etc there. i read news about women, children, men being raped in the most brutual ways possible by the IDF soldiers. i want to know the other side of the story since i have heard a lot of opinions of people supporting palestine. whatever is happening in Gaza isnt okay, i dont support the deaths and rapes of people in any way. id like to fact check with yall to know if IDF soldiers and Israeli government actually does endorse these cruelties. if yes, why? why this hatred? why cant humans coexist peacefully? reading about war hurts me.

before people come hate me, please know that im trying to understand both the sides of the story. media in my country is heavily based off propoganda. i in no way support any kind of violence towards anyone be it a palestanian or an Israeli.

Jordan's role on the Temple Mount is actually in Israel's interest

One thing that often gets overlooked in discussions about Jerusalem is that Jordan's role on the Temple Mount isn't just a concession to the Arab world it also serves several Israeli interests.

The 1994 Israel-Jordan peace treaty explicitly recognized Jordan's special role in Muslim holy sites in Jerusalem. More importantly, after more than 30 years, that arrangement has generally proven useful for maintaining stability.

What makes Jordan the best partner for this task:

• Jordan is one of the few neighboring countries that has maintained a durable peace treaty with Israel for decades.

• The Hashemite monarchy derives part of its legitimacy from its role as custodian of Islamic holy sites which gives Jordan a strong incentive to prevent escalation and preserve order.

• If Jordan's role were weakened, other actors could try to fill the vacuum, including Hamas, Iran-backed groups, Turkey, Qatar, KSA or various Islamist movements that are far less aligned with Israeli security interests and/or more capable.

• The arrangement helps separate religious administration from broader political disputes, reducing the likelihood that every incident becomes a regional crisis.

• Jordan has consistently supported preservation of the status quo, which many Israeli security officials view as the least risky option available.

You don't have to agree with every Jordanian policy to recognize that, from a strategic standpoint, having a stable, predictable partner overseeing Muslim religious affairs is preferable to a power vacuum or a competition among more radical actors.

Democrat Johnny Garcia wins Texas House primary after rival’s antisemitic comments drew national rebukes

Garcia, a centrist, was endorsed by progressives such as Greg Casar and AOC after his opponent, Maureen Galindo, pledged to send Zionists to internment camps. 80-90% of American Jews are Zionists.
