What guns can spawn with attachments?

Basically title. I like that there isnt modular attachments, but can most guns spawn with some attachments on them? I really like the bolt action rifle and itd be sick if i could find it suppressed with a scope.

Itd be cool finding obscure beginning guns maybe made viable cuz they have some attachments on it.

What do people go for with their Jelly after a few ranks of Eather Affininty?

I started this character with a simple goal: All the artifacts. So I started with 2 ranks of Collector. ...and now that I have 4 ranks (5 with cultist armor) of Eather Affinity (resulting in only 23.7% Eather Costs), I'm wondering if I should get a couple more.

Would it be a noticable difference you think? There's not a whole lot of other traits I'm going to want to skip the artifacts... sneaky comes to mind. I REALLY don't want to deal with the Gun Shy negative on that hardlight.

What do you guys think? What did you focus with your jellies?

TIA!

tldr: I'm leaning towards catching my Collector up to 4 to match with EA.

edit: 100 tries with and without the shark hat (if that matters), still no rank in collector. Guess I'll try more later.

Reputation increase

I have a couple of saves that are Military and Insurrection starts but the characters defect. Is there a good way to increase Freelancer and Revolution rep?

There aren't a lot of missions at Magpie's saloon so I'm hoping there are ways to increase rep otherwise.

New Player Questions

I normally only play games again if there is a big update or DLC im excited about, so i take my sweet time on the single playtrough i do and try to 100% the game.

I know this game has factions and a lot of other stuff going on, so i have a few questions.

  1. How many hours did YOU spend on a single playtrough?

  2. What is the debt about when creating a character, does the game end once i pay it off or does it lock regions, etc?

3.Which Factions should i care about if i want to se the most in a single playtrough as many of them say WIP or "not yet supported in sandbox" whatever that means?

  1. Which Attributes should i pick? Can i level them later on or are they exclusive to the character creator? Does it make sense to start with nothing?

  2. What does it mean to use Eather more efficiently?

  3. Increasing Chance of finding loot and Artifacts sounds really good for my loot goblin brain, but how big is the increase and what negative perks should you pick to counter the steep cost of them?

  4. Attribute "Weird Luck: All probability Curves are made flatter" costs 0 and i would like to know what this affects. Does this affect loot, Enemy spawns, quest rewards? All perks in general are really vague without info on what or how much they actually do.

Any other tips are welcome of course <3

Anyone managed to make it out of Malice?

I thought to myself in my infinite wisdom, what would actually happen if I shot the strange shopkeeper? Well. I am now stuck in his personal goon cave and have no idea how to get out. I have no teleporter artifacts on my person so that's a no go.

Does that place have an actual exit? I've been running in circles for the last 30 minutes.

Guy I think I stuffed up

This inheritor didn't make it very far :P

DW guys it was a permadeath's spawn area on the beach and I didn't like his perks anyway. The hole is his home now.

Discord Server Behavior Warning

I really enjoy the game, enjoy the community, dig the Scaly's, the lore, all of it. Which is why it hurts so much that I was banned from the Discord with no warning because I made a comment about AI. I understand AI is a touchy subject, but to have such a great experience ruined over such a sudden and severe treatment has killed all enthusiasm about the game and the developer.

Warning to anyone that likes the game. Keep any thoughts you have about AI to yourself, because even mentioning it in a positive way will apparently get you banned with absolutely no warning. You can agree with someone about 95% of things, but disagree about one thing and then react so strongly? That's not adult behaviour, nor is it appropriate.

New Player. I want more protection for my head, but the scouter seems to good to take off. What else should I use?

I like the HUD. Am I missing the survival part of the game, info over protection?

Picked up The Black Stone (Lodestone) as my first artifact, am I fucked?

Hello, I just started playing this game, slowly learning how everything works.

I came across an artifact really early and was excited, then my game started getting really really hard, with tanky enemies that can jump at me from miles away and deal too much damage.

So I looked up this artifact and discovered that these black stones are only a bad thing, and you can't sell them or drop them, and lodestone is the worst. So is my game just fucked now? What am I supposed to do?

Edit: I can't change the title, but what I picked up is apparently not The Black Stone, but just Lodestone, a pointy black stone with red-orange cracks. Thanks!

Enough Luftballons?

I reckon I'll leave the zone when I hit 10 luftballons. Maybe some of the new areas will have some.

Item duplication exploit found

I believe I found an item/artifact duplication exploit, though I've not had the chance to try to reproduce it.

I ran into a dandelion artifact floating around near a transition area, I shot at it thinking it might be an enemy, and it floated further into the transition area, unreachable. I proceeded and luckily it gave me an option to retrieve the items in the transition area, so I got the artifact.

I then transitioned back into the previous area, and the dandelion artifact was sitting there again in a bus, near where it was floating when I found it. I excitedly grabbed it, then quickly realised I should've tried shooting it into the transition area again before touching it to see if it came back again! Oh well!

If this is a known thing or if anyone has success replicating this let me know!
