my first tank !

this is echos 4th day home what do you think ?should i change something ? ive rearranged a couple things because i notice echo goes in any tiny crevice and it worries me sickk 😭 and what would be signs they filter is too high so i could buy something to help it i dont want him to ever get stressed because his fins he goes to the filter bubbles should i be worried when he does? he like swims towards it because it pushes him away and he swims against the current to get to them 😭hes changing color’s already he was white when i got him now blueish

I won a carnival goldfish. What's the best way to keep him alive for long.

Won a carnival goldfish unexpectedly but I wanna give him the best shot. If he makes it through the night (I won him way too late to go anywhere else) I'll be going to Petco. I know a bit about what I need, 20 gallon, water conditioner, filter, etc, but I'd love a better list that won't break the bank.

Let me know exactly what I'll need that Petco carries

Are my fish getting enough air☹️

I have 3 goldfish, all won at a fair. The oldest fish is about a year old, the other two are new (got a day ago). I have a filter in the tank but my older fish keeps going up to the top and like eating the air? my dad says it's because he's just looking for food but I don't think so. Help💔💔

Edit: Since this post, I have added another filter and am getting a bubbler. This tank is a temporary home till I can get a bigger tank. If there's anything wrong with the tank, can you at least tell me what's wrong, rather then just saying it bad? Also if you have any other helpful information, that'd be great🥹

I want to get my first fish tank…HELP?!

As my title shows, I want to get my first fish tank. What size do you recommend? I understand about the litre to fish point ratio…

What products do I need to ensure the water for cold water fish is safe, appropriate and good for transition. I understand that the tank will need to cycle for a good day or few until it’s ready.

How often should I be changing/siphoning water?

What substrate is good?

How often do I need to feed them? I don’t want food gathering at the bottom and it increasing ammonia - I understand Amano shrimp can eat these bits though…

And finally - any general suggestions and advice would be appreciated!! My friend did have fish for several years but it’s been a while and she can’t remember a whole lot about them apart from some bits of knowledge here or there…
