Whether you join hands to create a chain or hold a sign to speak your mind, please stand with us in peace and solidarity for our democracy, our rights, and our freedoms for which these heroic men and women gave their lives.

The right to vote was never freely given — it was demanded, marched for, legislated in blood. Today, that legislation is being gutted in statehouses across this country. Voter rolls are being purged. Polling places are vanishing. ID requirements are being weaponized. And silence is not an option.

This is a call to every organizer, every congregation, every young person who has never seen a march but always knew one might be necessary. This is the moment.

New times demand new tactics — economic pressure, digital organizing, culture, faith, and mass presence on the ground. But what doesn't change is this: when people show up, things shift.

We are not going back. We are going further. The Fight Isn't Over. It's Just Getting Started.

Veterans for Peace and Linn County Visibility Brigade invite you to a picnic pocket lunch at the Hiawatha City Hall Plaza area.

We will be grilling hot dogs and ask that you bring a shared dish, drinks, and your own table service. Meet and talk with Vets for Peace members and understand their mission. Come join the Linn County Visibility Brigade down the street on the Hiawatha bridge overpass. NO MORE WARS will be flying high!

This is about community and making our voices heard.

We are happy that LCC made the right choice after public outcry to reduce their helicopter restrictions on Seattle children’s hospital, but we would like to still highlight the neighborhood’s continued restriction to vital infrastructure and operations that SCH has tried to implement over the decades. This is not a stand alone issue, but one that impacts the greater PNW community as a larger problem.

All in all, we are happy to see progress on the problem and would like to show out in solidarity for SCH and celebration of this small victory. But also to demand that LCC show consistent support in their future decisions, as well as helping community members who have been impacted by their restrictions thus far

Workers at the outdoor retailer REI have been negotiating for a contract for four years now, without results. Now they’re ramping up the pressure and asking us to help. REI Union has called for a boycott of the store’s anniversary sale, set from May 15-25. They’ve secured the backing of 70,000 REI co-op members. 🚫 Let’s check out this report from More Perfect Union on their efforts and pledge to respect the boycott. 🚫

This is yet another example of Trump and Republicans targeted attacks on the rights of Black Americans. Since the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act, multiple states have modified their districts ahead of their primaries to take away Black Americans equal right to representation. All Roads Lead to the South is calling a national date and we plan to show our support, we hope to see you there too. Meet us at the 1st Avenue Bridge on Mays Island at 1PM!
