Omtose Phellack - Malazan Empire music project

Dear fellow Malazans,

For the past few years I've been working on a Malazan Empire inspired music album. I just published Omtose Phellack and would love for fans of the books to have a listen.

I tried to capture Omtose Phellack both as an ancient, immense realm of ice and the transition to its later, wounded state after millennia of conflict. So expect a very cold ambiance, especially for the first half.

First Teaser from Our Upcoming Organic Chill Album "NOMAD PATH"

Emerging artist recommendations?

I haven't really kept up with the scene and casual searches on the internet seem to yield the same artists that were already popular 10+ years ago.

Can anyone recommend artists who have started out in recent years and align with projects like Carbon Based Lifeforms (in terms of having a deep headspace and a subtle sound instead of being overly formulaic with in your face "ethno psychedelia")?
