Been out of commission for a bit; my phone was broken and I couldn’t get into my account.

This was gonna be the background to another piece but then it got more and more complicated until it was cool enough to be its own piece :) very happy with how this one came out!!

I had the privilege of traveling to California last fall to attend a workshop taught by an incredible artist by the name of Blake Foster where I started this painting. The whole idea felt like it pieced itself together with almost no second guessing. It all felt instinctual, like I’d just automatically know once I finished one little section what was supposed to come next, despite me not planning any of it out. I’m so happy to now call it done 💚
