A huge chunk of people in Somerset and the surrounding area are all cliquish, judgemental, and repressed/ prudish pricks.
I see this especially among men, younger men too (women follow the lead to fit in). Making friends and being "out there" with eccentric humor will basically get you shunned by people here. I don't really care, though, I know It's just a Somerset, Bible Belt thing, and people are actually normal elsewhere.
