Climb the 139 steps to the top, and you’ll get a whole new perspective on Lake Michigan, Silver Lake, and the surrounding dunes.

A little effort. A small charge. A seriously good view.

And yes, your legs may have an opinion about those stairs. 😂

Pere Marquette Park is the kind of place where you
can walk the sand, watch the waves, and follow the pier toward the lighthouse—all in one stop.

Tip: Give yourself time to walk beyond the beach. The views are worth it.

Whitefish Point Lighthouse has guided sailors along Lake Superior since 1861, standing watch over one of the most challenging stretches of water on the Great Lakes.
