I went to buy a shirt at the show in St. Louis and the person working the merch table was super pushy about me not having a mask on. They told me that everyone was required to wear a mask even though they were optional at the door, and they told me that I was the only person refusing to wear one even though it was very clear that plenty of people in the crowd did not have one on. I told the worker that I was under the impression that masks were optional and then gave her my shirt size so she could move the transaction along. She looked at me like I had just said the most offensive and vulgar shit she’d ever heard!
Really weird of them to shame people for not wearing masks, especially when I’m spending extra money to support the band.
EDIT: I’m NOT above masking, and wore one at the last show I went to of theirs in Dallas. I simply wanted to see the show’s visuals this time around without having them obscured by fogged up glasses, and enjoy my drinks without constantly having to adjust my mask/glasses.
Can anyone tell me how the opening act is that has been to their shows in 2026?
I purchased the VIP experience for the upcoming Portland show and just wanted to check if there’s something special I need to do at the venue or will instructions be provided before the show? Typically do you arrive early to the venue? I hear the experience comes with a tote bag or something so can I avoid bringing my own bag for merch? Does VIP get early access to the merch counter? I’ve listened to Purity Ring for years and out of nowhere saw that they were playing in KC. Saw the tickets were only 30 bucks and it was worth it, I would have paid even more!
The visuals, music and vibe were just great. It was so artistic and stunning to see! I had no idea what I was gonna witness by their stage design and was truly blown away!

It's been 4 years since Purity Ring last came to Toronto and it was worth the wait! The new songs sounded awesome live and the stage production has improved massively. I loved the veil and projector setup they had in 2022 but these 3D fan holograms can produce a much higher resolution image that sells the effect even more (the recording doesn't do it full justice).
Really interested to hear what others thought of this show, especially anyone who saw them for their 2022 tour.

I filmed about half of the set! Camera was propped against barricade and I wasn't looking at it much so there's some out of focus shots and Megan out of frame. The video doesn't do the visuals justice to how pretty it is irl.
I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to share any footage they might have captured from the toronto show last night, it was my first purity ring concert (AMAZING BTW) and I was literally right at the barrier, unfortunately much to the point where my phone microphone just clipped and distorted for a bunch of songs without me knowing.

I don't know if anybody has said similar things I am about to say on this thread but their new album is definitely a grower. When I first heard the singles I was heavily disappointed. And when I heard the album as a whole nothing changed. I refused to listen to it for months. I decided to register to it and I like it a whole lot more. It's still probably my least favorite album by them but I am actually really enjoying it now. Excited to see them live.
