This is my new port, in attempting to recreate PvZ2 On Nintendo 3DS, playable on a old 3DS or New 3DS.

My goal is to make the 3 first worlds and the tutorial (for a start, this is not bad right ?) :

- Ancient Egypt

- Pirate Seas

- Wild West

Let’s say hypothetically you had 20k gems. How would you spend them?

Back in 2013 I was able to acquire 20k gems. I stopped playing PVZ2 shortly after and I’m just now getting back into the game… I feel like I bought bitcoin in 2013 and lost access to my wallet until 2026.

Anyways, based of a little bit of research I’ve done, it seems like the best way to spend gems is by 1st, buying all the gemium plants, focus on upgrading gauntlet strong plants, primarily focus on buying gauntlets. Do NOT waste them on random piñatas.

I dont know if this would go against the rules of this subreddit but I know that EA will send people to assasinate me. So you can unlock any plants that were behind a paywall or seedium with a simple sounding trick, it may be hard to set up. I dont know if it works in later versions but I made it work in a 2023 version.

All you do is create a custom level using ELM, and when it generates like the json code, you edit the code, there was like a reward line, and you change it to whatever plant you want to unlock(ofc you change it to its "software name" like red_stinger), and when you beat the level it just gives you that plant! I unlocked gold bloom for free!! Of course you also have to know how to add the custom levels to the game through file explorers and stuff its too long to explain if anyone really want to do that just look up tutorials on youtube.

I dont think this would work on the current version, as far as I know with ELM you can make custom levels to any version but I couldnt have the game open my levels.

I got reminded of this exploit when I was watching a challenge video about only using summoning plants where he went the effort and unlocked the seedium plants when he couldve just done this

Beacuse i dont know if it will unlock me those plants or not

Finally after years of off and on play, collected every single plant. Bought some from discounted deals, the rest are all through grinding. Feels great to see the roster complete!

Ahh yes. The duplication glitch. I dont really play the game anymore I just check it like once a week, but my currencies and everything kept duping almost every time I open the game after a while. Coins are about to reach the integer limit, will my game crash? Will all of the currencies go to 0, what should I do here? And if it keeps doubling after it turns 0 or something, would I get banned, or cant even get in the game?

Often i just do screenshots and it's not like i am showing them to people so i just wanted to post them here. What do you think?
