QM 1.3 is here! (plus a hotfix)
Hi all - hope everyone is okay!
Over the last 48 hours I have been hard at work applying 1.3s first hotfix. For anyone new here, I pay for something called OTA builds or over the air if you fancy saying it all in one go
What this basically means, as long as I keep fixes JS only, so no major framework changes, I can push updates out to your devices without ever having to wait for Apple. Obviously these are quite expensive (hence no other dev really does them) but this is just another example of QM being a premium product and what sets QM apart from the flock - you pay a premium price, you deserve a premium service and that will never change
So what's in it
Show pages
- seasons now fold open. tap a season and the episodes open right there, so no more scrolling down to pick one and back up to see it. the big episode stills are still there, or flip it to a list if that's more your thing
- episodes show their ratings now, on the show page and the episode page
- you can mark something as watched, favourite it or add it to a collection straight from the film or show page (the ... next to search). plex gets watched/unwatched
- download history on the show page is way tidier, one row per episode with the newest stuff at the top, and every episode page has its own history now
Home
- continue watching and up next are their own rows now, so a big list of half watched stuff doesn't bury your next episodes. you can switch either one off in customise home
- tapping something in up next opens the details instead of playing it straight away. hold it down if you just want to resume
- the spotlight goes back round to the start when you swipe past the last one
- if you've set seerr to hide stuff you already have, blocklisted titles or things already requested, qm hides them too now
- customise home and customise tabs are at the bottom of entertainment now, same as the command centre
Everything else
- the calendar tells you which episodes when a show drops a load on the same day (S01E01-09) instead of just "9 episodes"
- blackout and bronze app icons were the wrong way round, sorted
- forms jumping up and down while you type a username and password, sorted
Companion (0.1.8)
- sonarr and radarr alerts now carry the full release name (the one you see in history), so you can put it in your custom alert wording. update your companion and it fills in
Apple TV beta (build 84)
- missing films should all be there now and play the right film
- choose seasons works however many quality profiles you've got
- seerr's hide settings work on the TV too
To get the update, open QM, close it fully, then open it again. If it hasn't come through, give it one more go.

Pass it through to family and friends - please note there are only 75 places so I do expect this to fill up quite quickly the apple tv app comes with QM Pro, so you'll need Pro on your iPhone. once it's installed, set it up from your iPhone in Settings > Apple TV
