hi! i got notified that i won the parking lottery on friday but the email didn’t say when i could pick up the pass. i know it’s specific days/times. does anyone know when that will be?
Whoever gets to the spot first gets to park I shouldn’t have to walk 2 miles to get to my class
Are my classes gonna be cancelled if i miss the deadline by 2-3 days this was sudden notice and the fund transfer might take few days to come into my account
So everyone’s posting the warning for classes getting canceled which I understand but I just wanna confirm am I chilling since this is under my holds on my cunyfirst? Or should I still make a payment plan? I did my fafsa a week and a half ago and gonna do TAP now.
I applied the day and morning of and it said the week of August 11 to August 17th wait for an email but haven’t received anything so should I just assume I didn’t get it’s my first time is it that difficult to get? I’m screwed I’m in that building across the cemetary for language.
Is this a new rule? I don’t remember anything like this before, I always paid after the semester started. Also I’m still waitlisted for some classes so how is gonna work?
Does anyone know why students are only allowed to park in lot 15 this semester?
Last semester, I felt like I didn’t give myself the opportunity to put myself out there or make any type of connections or acquaintances, and I wanna do things differently this semester of course I’m gonna hear the usual join a club sit or sit on the quad …let’s be real everyone’s faces are buried in their phones at this point sad to say. Anybody took Jomal Seligson for SOC 101 before? How is he like? Does he grade harshly? The class is online, so does he force you to have your camera on during the class when you join?

Just wanted to know what the best minor would be in this market to take with Accounting BBA business track.
Or would it be overall better to take advanced accounting.
My problem is that I don’t want to become a CPA, so im in a dilemma of wondering if maybe the business track accounting + a minor would be a strong candidate versus the advanced track accounting degree.

older student here, art major approaching senior yr. ive adopted a bohemian lifestyle in the past couple years, and am very laidback in how i live and present myself. i don't like wearing shoes very much, especially in the warmer seasons - ive always felt more comfortable and like myself when i'm feeling the ground under my feet. ive already spent basically my entire summer w/o shoes and see little point to stop at least until it gets cold again, so is there any rule or dress code that's stopping me from just attending my classes barefoot?
Just fyi:
- im specifically taking abt ON campus, public transport's a wholeeeee different story 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
- ive been living ths way for years + know the possible risks associated w/ ths lifestyle, and am always prep'd for just in case (first aid kit and all that jazz)
- i honestly don't care abt any negative comments ill get about how weird it is, it's just part of who i am ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I like being weird
What should I do ?? I found out I will be out the country with family for roshanna and have no choice to go I know I’ll catch up on school work but is there someone I can let know in advance or head of my major ? I’m afraid it will affect my attendance. Thanks
