So, i was thinking of making a fic where Lady Nagant actually has a daughter. What could be a quirk for the daughter? Do i make a quirk that's similar to Nagant? Or do i just think of one that the father could've had?

Quirk Name: As One

Quirk Type: Emitter

Quirk Effect: allows the user to copy and use 2 separate quirks as one singular quirk.

Example: The user Uses As One to copy All Might's OFA and Endeavor's Hellflame and they can use the OFA Enhanced Hellflame.

Example 2: the user uses As One on Midnight and Nejire Hado the user would ether get sleep inducing energy spirals or a fog made of the user's stamina that they can manipulate.

Fire Eater

Quirk Name: Fire Eater

Type: Emitter / Transformation Hybrid

Fire Eater allows the user to absorb and consume heat from their surroundings. While the quirk is most visibly used by inhaling flames or hot air, the user is not actually eating fire itself—they are absorbing the thermal energy contained within it. Any source of heat can be consumed, including flames, heated objects, or the warmth within the surrounding air.

When the user absorbs heat from an area, the temperature around them rapidly drops. By pulling enough thermal energy away, they can create freezing conditions around themselves, causing surfaces to frost over and the air to become cold. Despite this, the user remains unaffected by the temperature change because the absorbed heat is stored within their own body.

The heat stored inside the user acts as a temporary energy source, enhancing their physical abilities. The more heat they consume, the more their body is boosted, increasing their:

* Strength

* Speed

* Agility

* Reflexes

* Physical endurance

The user's body essentially converts stored thermal energy into increased physical output, allowing them to move faster and hit harder while maintaining a high level of control over their body.

The user can also release stored heat back out of their body as waves or bursts of thermal energy. These releases can take the form of:

* Heat waves

* Burning strikes

* Expanding blasts of hot air

* Concentrated bursts of flame-like energy

Releasing heat is much easier when the user has recently consumed actual fire because the energy is already highly concentrated. Heat absorbed from normal surroundings requires more effort to gather and condense before it can be used offensively.

Because the user can both absorb and release heat, Fire Eater is a quirk based around maintaining a balance. Absorbing too much heat causes their body temperature and energy levels to rise dangerously, while releasing too much at once can leave them weakened and unable to maintain their enhanced state.

**Weaknesses**

* The user cannot create heat from nothing; they must absorb it first.

* Cold environments provide less available energy to consume.

* Storing too much heat can cause overheating and physical strain.

* If the user releases all stored heat, they lose their physical enhancements.

* The user’s strongest attacks require preparation and stored energy.

**Awakening: Thermal Feast**

The user gains the ability to absorb heat from a much wider area and store it more efficiently. They can drain the thermal energy from large spaces, creating sudden temperature drops, while using the collected energy to greatly enhance their body or release massive waves of heat. At this level, the user can control the flow between absorbing and releasing energy almost continuously, turning the surrounding temperature itself into a weapon. It also negates the weakness that a cold environment would hold as they are actively causing the temperature to rise so rapidly that it becomes null and void.

how would i merge these quirks/ideas together ?

hello !! so i was making an oc and i want her to have a quirk like nejire’s but moon and water related, however i couldn’t think of a way to merge these ideas together in a way that works

i came up with the idea of like moon energy and illusions but that was as far as i could think

can anyone help me think of any better ideas bcs i am struggling so bad with this 😭

Terraforming

Emitter

Allows the user to manipulate rock and other ground-based materials (dirt, sand, etc.).

They can change the landscape with a thought, lift or flatten mountains, drag people underground, open sinkholes, travel fast by shortening the earth between them and their destination, stir up a sandstorm/dust storm to conceal themselves, and much more.

Speed wise the user can erect rock formation in the blink of an eye, but for anyone with a speed quirk or sensory ability, they may be able to feel the minor tremor in whatever earth the user plans to manipulate right before the actual Quirk activates.

The user can also forcibly condense rock to create more durable material, like crushing a hill into a basketball-sized mass would make it significantly tougher. The only downside is that it is also more heavy, so the users control is weakened slightly.

Range-wise the users control is theoretically infinite, but still travels via vibration (at the speed of sound) and once the tremor passes through an area, the user can only control it for a certain amount of time before they have to reapply the vibration. Furthermore, the tremor is better at travelling horizontally, not downwards, so the user's control is limited to the surface.

Drawbacks

Requires the user to be grounded. They don't have to directly touch the ground like Pixie-Bob, but some part of their body must be on the earth/rock they wish to control.

User: Pangaea, the number 1 heroine in Australia & holder of the worlds strongest earth-based Quirk.

Matter Armor

Quirk Type: Emitter

Quirk Description: This quirk gives the user the ability to copy solid (so no non-newtonian fluids) material that they lay their hands on and coat their body in the same material like an exoskeleton. The user can also change the shape of their body in this state, allowing them to make their hands into weapons or shields for close combat or tools for . The user also has above average enhanced strength in this state, allowing them to lift cars or large rubble. Finally, the user can choose whether or not to offer a portion of the armor to someone else, giving the other person a small amount of armor if need be.

Weaknesses / Limitations: The quirk's effects start at the hands, leaving the rest of their body exposed until they finish coating their body in the material. The amount of their body that is coated is determined by the amount of material they have on hand, meaning that a handful of pocket change would only be able to cover the user's hand with the coins. The user also needs to be mindful of what material they copy in any given situation because they're not invulnerable in this state.

I want a better hero name for my oc

Name - Senki Blackwood

Hero name - Arsenal - the weapon hero

Quirk - Blacksmith

Type - transformation

Description - user can transform any part of his limbs or head into weapon they are knowledgeable about. the more powerful the weapon, the more strain the part of the body transformed will sustain. If he is using a ranged weapon. Dead/damaged cells and reconstruct into the ammo/item shot

  if the weapon is too powerful/destructive, it can permanently damage/disfigure the part of the body that was transformed. The user can not remove the weapon from there body. So anything like a grenade can not be made.

Special moves - weapon devil: senki will make 1 ranged, melee, and Defense/sidearm on his arms and head.

Lagre caliber: senki will merge 2 or more of his limbs to create larger, more powerful weapons.

I like the hero name I got but I want it to try to be more of a play on words

Spice

Allows the user to breathe fire by consuming capsaicin. The more capsaicin, the hotter the fire. It's simple, but a Quirk I've had in my head for a while. Training it could be breathing exercises and eating hot peppers to increase capsaicin tolerance.

I feel like giving it to a really chill and relaxed character would be a funny contrast. It'd be even funnier if the character has a naturally low tolerance to spice.

PS; I hope I'm not breaking rules, I get super nervous every time I post on a subreddit for the first time.

How do we feel about self-destructive quirks?

Title. The MHA world is massive, maybe bigger than reality. Who’s to say that some quirks can’t be self-destructive?

By “self-destructive” I mean that by using the quirk, it somehow hurts or destroys the holders body. Kinda like cancer, it’s a part of the holder but it harms them when they use it.

I really like the idea of a character using their quirk for either good or evil and actively destroying their body by doing so. Let me know what you guys think and share some ideas if you’re interested!

Please give me feedback on my quirk which I may or may not have put too much thought into

Name: Energy Charge

Description:

It allows the user to turn they're energy/stamina into an aura that surrounds them they can harden and shape it, its strength depends on how many times they charge it. (Starts at red)

(x Strength of Steel) Red= 0.5x Orange= 1x Yellow= 3x Green= 5x Blue= 7x Purple= 10x Each charge drains more stamina All shapes weightless to user

Quirk Type, Hybrid (Emitter/Construct/Enhancement)

Gear: STEM shot

Special Moves:

Energy Crash, aura turn into a red charged beam that hardens picking up the user and crashing them down somewhere else like lightning, when offensive user crosses arms into a purple charged forcefield causing impact damage.

Stamina Gatling, using energy with spikes on arms punching nonstop, everytime it breaks automatically reassembles. (color doesn't matter)

Merciless Execution, user continuously summons orange charged swords that impale the target from every direction.

Shattering Implosion, user summons a red charged ball and kicks it at opponent, after the opponent easily breaks it the shards from the ball turn purple and go straight at target imapailing them.

Iron Fortress, uses purple charged boxes in user and their target with holes and doors everywhere user shifts building to their will allowing them to easily block, dodge, and attack.

Mecha Genki, user surrounds themselves giant purple charged mech linked to users movements.

Anchoring Cuffs, user gets close to target and user purple charged aura to wrap around targets wrists and ankles hardening them into cuffs slowing and restraining movement.

Compressed Shot, user compresses purple charged energy as much as possible into a single bullet and aiming with their fingers. (finger gun)

Awakening:

Unlocks Rainbow Charge 100x the strength of steel and uses less energy.

Compressed Shot, now gets two more modes ricochet and split, ricochet makes the bullet bounce off stuff and split makes it so that after firing compresses less to make more bullets. The two new modes can combine but takes big tole on energy like most awakened moves.

Prism Crash, can now change direction instead of just going up and coming down somewhere else, also it is now rainbow charged.

Supernova Implosion, shards are heatseaking rainbow needles.

Omega Genki, now rainbow, faster, and can make giant shapes of it's own.

Finisher: Prismatic Annihilation, user summons all stamina into a tiny point releases it and a giant beam of light does critical damage. The user instantly passes out no matter how much stamina they have, and they sleep for 24 hours straight with no way to wake them up.

Fat Explosion

Type: Emitter

Description: The holder of this quirk is able to produce an explosion from the fat cells accumulated in their body.

Function: The holder’s fat cells are changed so that the triglycerides, that hold most of the stored energy, are able to store more energy in the form of extremely pure potassium ions. With higher fat levels in the holder’s body, commonly associated with obesity, the potassium ions are isolated in fat cells and form into pure potassium.

Once the quirk is activated, water molecules are moved to the pure potassium reserves and then cause an explosion of varying levels. The size of the explosion is completely dependent on how much intent the user has in using their quirk.

(Disclaimer-I realize that a little of the science in my explanation of the quirk is a little off but let’s just say that it’s a lot simpler than it seems.)

Locked & Loaded

Emitter

By holding an object and pressing it into a surface, the user can 'load it' like a projectile.

From the outside nothing looks different, the loaded object simply disappears into a pocket dimension inside the surface of the other object and the only one who can sense the object's presence is the user themselves.

At will, they can choose to fire the loaded object from the makeshift firearm, causing it to suddenly shoot out at roughly the speed of a bullet.

Potential uses:

- Sliding items into things that the user wants to track and using their loaded-object sense to follow it.

- Setting up traps where people wouldn't expect things to shoot out.

- Storing things with virtually limitless space.

Drawbacks

The user has to be able to lift something to consider it a loadable object.

If the surface holding a loaded object is damaged, the object will be forced out prematurely, but without the kinetic energy of being shot forwards.

The user isn't immune to the projectiles of their Quirk so it's better used for prep time.

Compact Storage

Quirk Type: Mutant

The user of this quirk has a long black line along their torso that reaches from the bottom of their neck to the bottom of their stomach. By simply thinking, the user can cause this line to widen and open up their torso to reveal a never-ending pit of darkness.

The user can store objects or people inside themselves by inserting them into their chest. They can also retrieve whatever they have stored by reaching a hand inside the opening. Alternatively, the user can also make the opening “spit” out whatever they want to retrieve.

While inside the user, objects are perfectly preserved at the moment they were first inserted. So if the user decided to store a hot meal inside of themselves. Even after a week passes, the meal would still be just as warm and fresh as the moment it was put inside.

When people are stored inside the user, they are rendered unconscious and put into a form of hibernation. The condition of the person inside is also preserved as well. So if the user stored away a person who was bleeding out, they’d be safe and preserved inside the user until they’re spat out.

The user does not experience any physical drawbacks from having a lot of things stored inside them. Instead, they cannot store more than 5 times what the user can lift with their own body. But they can strengthen the amount they can store by simply working out their entire body.

Quirk name: Diamond Dust

### **Quirk Name: Diamond Dust** ###

**Type:** Emitter

Diamond Dust allows the user to create small diamond-shaped crystalline projectiles from their body. These objects are extremely dense and sharp, having a durability comparable to steel. Despite their name, they are not actual diamonds but a unique quirk-created material with a similar structure and appearance.

The user has a limited telekinetic connection with their created projectiles. Within roughly a one-foot radius of their body, they can freely manipulate the objects, allowing them to rotate, adjust their angle, slightly reshape them, and control their movement. This allows the user to create complex attack patterns, such as spinning barriers of diamond shards or rapidly changing the direction of multiple projectiles before firing them.

Once a projectile leaves this control range, it becomes completely independent and can no longer be altered. The user can still launch them at high speeds, but after they are fired, they follow their original trajectory like normal thrown objects.

A unique ability of Diamond Dust is fracturing. While within the user's telekinetic range, they can cause a projectile to break apart into multiple smaller diamond shards. These fragments are weaker individually but can overwhelm an opponent through sheer numbers, creating attacks similar to a cloud of sharp crystal particles.

The user can also create Elemental Cores by forming the diamond projectile around an outside substance or energy source. By trapping something inside the crystal structure, the projectile can carry that effect when it makes contact.

Examples:

  1. Encasing a small flame creates a burning projectile

  2. Encasing electricity creates a shocking projectile

  3. Encasing freezing material creates a cold-based effect

However, the elemental enhancement is limited. The diamond does not increase the power of what is contained inside—it simply acts as a delivery method. A flame projectile may burn on impact, but it would not create an explosion or massive fire attack.

The user’s fighting style revolves around preparation and positioning. Up close, they are extremely dangerous because they can manipulate their projectiles like a swarm of floating blades. At range, they rely on accuracy and planning since fired projectiles can no longer be adjusted.

**Weaknesses**

  1. The telekinetic control range is extremely limited.

  2. Projectiles cannot be changed once they leave the one-foot field.

  3. Creating too many shards at once drains stamina.

  4. Smaller fractured pieces are much easier to destroy.

  5. The user must have something to place inside the crystal for elemental effects; they cannot create elements themselves.

**Awakening: “Diamond Orbit”**

The user expands their telekinetic field to 10 yards and is able to make even larger diamonds allowing for more over all damage and range as well they can rapidly fracture, recombine, and redirect shards while moving, creating a near-constant storm of floating crystal weapons. Their elemental cores also become more stable, allowing multiple effects to be combined into specialized projectiles.

Quirk: Grizzly

Type: Mutant

Premise: As the name suggests, the user has the appearance of an anthropomorphic American grizzly bear, including sharp teeth and claws as well as a thick, fluffy hide. This means the user has amazing strength and durability as well as keen senses akin to an actual grizzly.

Drawbacks: the main drawback is that the user is susceptible to extreme cold, forcing their nervous system to shut down into a hibernative state to conserve energy. The user's senses can also be seen as a weakness because of how much more powerful they are than a normal human's.

Riding

Emitter

Allows the user to designate anything as a mount and ride it.

Mounts become empowered by the Quirk, so if they ride a horse it would be as if the horse had a super strength Quirk of its own.

The user isn't limited to living mounts either, as they can select the surrounding air as a mount to 'ride the wind'. This way they can simulate flight and enhance their strikes with air blasts similar to All Might.

Should the user get their legs around someone, they can forcefully take them as a mount in order to either enhance them or incapacitate an enemy.

Inspiration: The Riding skill from Fate.

User: Sweet Georgia, a cowgirl-themed heroine out in America.

Absorbing Orb

Quirk type: Emitter

The user can generate a small, yellow, floating orb of energy from the palm of either hand. They can only generate one orb at a time but there is no cooldown for repeatedly generating orbs.

The orbs will absorb any type of energy they come into contact with, Kinetic, thermal, etc. The more energy the orbs absorb, the larger they become. All energy absorbed is converted into Kinetic energy inside the orb. Once a desired amount of energy is reached, the user can propel the orb forward at a high speed. However much kinetic energy the orb has stored inside, that is how hard the orb will transfer into the target on contact. Absorbing too much energy can cause the orb to burst and release all of the stored energy around it, damaging anyone in the surrounding area. This includes the user themselves. So the user can’t just absorb a nuclear bomb’s worth of energy and be ok.

For instance, if the user used an orb to block a gunshot, then the orb hitting someone or something will deal the same impact that the gunshot would have had.

Oversoul

Accumulation

Causes the user's body to stockpile Vestiges.

​

While a regular Quirk user only has 1 Vestige to their name, the user of Oversoul has both a supermassive 'central' Vestige (the Oversoul Quirk itself) and innumerable other 'offspring' Vestiges that are stockpiled by the user's life force.

​

At first there is no tangible benefit to this because it is astronomically rare to find a Quirk that can interact with Vestiges (basically just AFO, OFA, & New Order), but later in the user's life--*at least* a decade-- they may reach a point where the sheer volume of Vestiges inhabiting their mind can manifest externally.

​

For instance if the user projected several dozen Vestiges in front of their arm, it would appear as a wave of multicoloured exotic energy suddenly spawning into existence. Since this is spiritual energy rather than anything physical, it has no impact on the physical world. It can't push, destroy, or affect anything.

​

However, it can affect other Vestiges. This makes the user's attacks lethal to other Quirk users, capable of weakening, strengthening, or outright destroying a person's Quirk based on how many Vestiges the user puts into the attack and the strength of the Quirk they're trying to affect. Quirks like One For All wouldn't fold even if the user dropped their whole supply on it (so they also can't empower OP Quirks), while something like Squirmy Fingers would be erased with a car-sized blast.

The user can even affect their own central Vestige, such as launching energy at themselves to push their Vestige around (which by extension pulls the body, giving them access to a rudimentary form of flight). Since this central Vestige is so massive compared to the others, it is essentially impossible to accidentally harm it.

Finally, the user can give someone awareness of their Vestige realm through direct contact, potentially allowing them to explore the inner workings of their ability. This can also be quite straining on the human mind if it's the first time.

Drawbacks

Takes time to develop a functional supply.

​

Is only effective on Quirk users.

​

Requires the user to estimate the power level of their opponent otherwise they could accidentally extinguish their Quirk without meaning to.

​

Inspiration: I wanted to make a Stockpiling-type Quirk that worked with something that doesn't exist in the real world. Originally it was going to be something more abstract like stockpiling patience, but I couldn't find the right way to describe it so I went with this instead.
