hi everyone!
i’ve just started RDO after replaying the story mode about… 5 million times. i absolutely love the game and never felt the need to venture onto online because i loved the immersion, detail and characters of story mode so much.

however, i’ve decided to finally get into it. safe to say i’m a little… confused? and also realising how good we get it in story mode pertaining to earning money and having support like provisions etc. i know this is pretty much obvious as there is no element of competition or rank in story mode but still.

i’m just wondering if any seasoned RDO players have some top tips for me?

also… is it just me, or is the game quite dead? i’ve genuinely probably ran into like 2 people in the open free play lobby. when i do missions i’m matchmaking for at least 5 minutes each time. i don’t know if this is because of my console (xbox) or whether i’m just being put in emptier lobbies… i don’t know haha. sometimes i’m roaming the map and its a ghost town.

part of me feels as though i could be playing the game wrong though? i’ve not yet lowered my white flag as i’m still a low level with little money and only 2 guns (basically i’m still crap n can’t afford to have anyone griefing me, which is what i’ve heard happens A LOT.)

so yeah. basically just looking for some general tips so i can progress on this game. I AM enjoying it, aside from the fact that my map is so devoid of other players that it feels like a liminal space.

Can anyone buy me rdr online .So first i played and completed rdr2 and i have that playstation subscription so thats why i can play rdr online on rdr2 but now subscription is over and now i cant play it online now and then i tried to buy the game but its 19 dollars i managed to get 10 dollars gift card but i am missing 9 dollars i told my my father that i need another 10 dollars gift card but he said NO bcz i bought 10 dollars earlier . So can anyone help me buy 10 dollars gift card if u wanna help most thank you but u dont wanna help so dont spread hate . My Question is that will my progress will me saved from rdr2 or no and it will be a new game ? For me when i buy . This post is not to hurt anyone feeling , dont hate .

Hi, I hope I’m posting this in the right place and that my message doesn’t get removed. I was wondering if anyone knows of any Discord, Telegram, or other groups where RDR Online accounts and stuff like that are sold.
The thing is, I want to sell my account, which is a very complete account, with Halloween Pass 1 and 2, Outlaw Passes 3, 4 and 5, Quick Draw Pass 1, etc., etc., etc.
I can only find platforms like PlayerAuctions and others that take huge commissions. Does anyone know of somewhere I could sell it?

I’ve already seen Halloween Pass 2 come back multiple years in a row, so for October 2026 I’d really like Rockstar to do something different.

It doesn’t need to be a massive update. I’d be happy with something like Halloween Pass 1 returning, a new Halloween Pass, new Call to Arms maps, new Telegram Missions, or even just some fresh Halloween rewards.

For me, even a small amount of new content would give me a reason to jump back into RDO again.

What would you like Rockstar to do for Halloween this year?

Was anybody there for the triple cash for fishing ? I never would take the time to try learning because I didn’t see the point but that month the money was great. Now I actually do it all the time to relax. I think they should do a double or triple cash on all butcher sells. It’d give us a reason to use something that’s already in game that people barely use.

exactly what the question says. i’m new to rdo and getting gold is such a long process. i’m only make .08-.10 gold per bounty i do, and blood missions don’t give much better. i don’t really have the time to grind this game, and i just wanna make money so i can get cool outfits. i’m trying to get the collector role since it’s 3x rn, but i can’t for the life me just sit and grind these missions. what are some ways to make a good amount of gold?

I was doing some work for my Character on Sisika and I used the Cecil. C Tucker bug to get there, Last time I went I saw some unfinished textures and places to fall through the map, but this time I saw full textures, and I even found a guard. Would this just be them touching things up, or could this be an important update

I'm writing this request because I would absolutely love to play Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC, but I currently have a $0 budget and no extra money to spend on gaming. I also don't have any friends or family members who own PC games or have an account I could borrow, so I'm turning to this amazing community.

I've watched so many videos of the open world, the horse riding, and Arthur Morgan's story, and I am completely fascinated by the level of detail Rockstar put into this world. I love deep storytelling and open-world exploration, and everything I see about this game makes me want to experience it firsthand.

If anyone happens to have an extra Steam key or has the means to gift it, I would be incredibly grateful. I promise it will be played and thoroughly appreciated.
