Redliner, one of the fastest deaths
When I first saw redliner got very hyped. The game looked awesome and as a Titanfall fan it was like love at first sight. started playing with a buddy of mine and we got pretty good we were some of the higher leveled people there. We saw thousands of people online and got into games instantly it was incredibly fun and addicting. It's the only thing we played for a week. After a week we started noticing some issues with the game. One, the servers were very far meaning we were always getting hit from yards away in a 2v2 and couldn't do anything about it. That was extremely annoying and discouraging but we kept playing. Then we noticed the big "oh no", the monetization. You had to absolutely grind the game to get better weapons (| had them all). And that's when the biggest issue arose, balancing. The castigate dominated it all. It has the range, aim and quick charge time. It dominated any mode especially 2v2. I mained shotgun and loved the movement but have a machine gun pistol on you at all times kinda sucked meaning the only usable weapon was the castigate. People complaineda lot about it on discord and the devs shrugged it off acted like the complaints were nothing. Once people so that, pretty quickly I watched the game lose member very fast and the discord was talking about it being the castigate, lag and balancing issues. I miss the game but it hits a peak of 3k players now. I saddens me to see such an amazing concept die like that but I have to say it shows a prime example of why devs should listen to they're player base. I was in contact with the owners for a while as was going to be doing some skins for the game but they ghosted me after a while because they were no longer receiving they're robux donations. Anyway I hope anyone reading this has an amazing day!
