ASUS Rgb control from windows dynamic lightning

I saw a lot of people trying to find alternatives to control ASUS RGB, but couldn’t really find a solution. My PC mostly consists of NZXT parts (when it comes to RGB lighting). However, my motherboard is an ASUS ROG Strix B850-E Gaming WiFi, so I was searching for a solution to control it besides Armoury Crate. I tried SignalRGB, but I didn't like it; sometimes my devices randomly disappeared and the lights just turned off. This also happened to the pump screen, and after that, the app couldn't recognize it anymore.

So, I just accepted my fate, reinstalled Armoury Crate, and ran it just for the motherboard lights. It always frustrated me that Armoury Crate was on my PC, especially after the research I did (YT videos, Reddit posts, etc.). All in all, no one recommends it because it has so much background usage.

I finally decided to uninstall it and just turn the motherboard lighting off in the BIOS. Before disabling it—I don't know why—I checked Windows Dynamic Lighting, but there were no devices listed to control. So, I went straight to the BIOS but before turning aura off, I found an option under Advanced Options > Onboard Devices: "Enable Windows Dynamic Lighting to control RGB". After enabling it, Windows detected my motherboard, and I can now set a static color. Way less costumization option, but for someone that only wants a static color it will work perfectly fine. No Armoury Crate, no SignalRGB!

P.S.: During boot/shut down the lights switch to rainbow, but once your system boots up, they almost immediately switch to the set color.

Can anyone tell me why the RGB lights on my RAM sticks won't stay synchronized?

Alguém pode me ajudar?

RGB Controller issues.

Heyy
so I've been having this issue for a while now, where my RGB controller doesn't send light to my fans but the fans spin normally, recently tho i connected the hub to a separate RGB controller ( the one my CPU cooler comes with ) and the lights finally worked but defaults to white, then i found out that if i put anything close enough to the hub or tap it as shown in the video above, it starts acting weird and changing colors and modes, i tried using the included remote to switch from M/B control to R /C control but no luck. i had a friend of mine check the soldering and connections by opening the hub and testing the circuit board but nothing was wrong
Any one has any idea why this is happening !?
Btw if i remove the 2 pin to ARGB wire that's coming from the hub or connect it back to the motherboard ARGB port I get no lights at all.

I need RGB help

Hey everyone, I’m building in an NZXT H6 Flow case with a Kraken Elite 360 AIO and I’m trying to figure out the best way to handle RGB without running into software conflicts.

My current situation:

Case: NZXT H6 Flow (RGB case)

AIO: NZXT Kraken Elite 360 (RGB + LCD)

Motherboard: Gigabyte AORUS Elite AX

RAM: Corsair 32gb DDR5 RGB (Vengeance RGB)=

Planning bottom fans: NZXT F280 RGB Core (2x140mm in one frame)

Possibly using SignalRGB to sync everything

My confusion:

SignalRGB doesn’t seem to “support my case” (not sure if that even matters)

I’m not sure if I should use SignalRGB, NZXT CAM, or motherboard software

I want all RGB (RAM + fans + motherboard lighting) synced if possible

I also want to avoid software conflicts or stuff constantly overriding each other

Questions:

  1. Do I even need SignalRGB for this setup, or should I just stick to CAM + motherboard software?
  2. Will Corsair RAM + NZXT fans/AIO actually sync properly in SignalRGB?
  3. Is there a “best practice” software setup for mixed RGB ecosystems like this?
  4. Would I need any RGB controller for the bottom fans, or can I just use the motherboard headers?
  5. Should I just buy an RGB controller instead to simplify everything?

Any advice from people who’ve done mixed-brand RGB builds would be really appreciated. I’m trying to keep it clean and simple without 3 different RGB apps fighting each other.

Help with controlling both RGB and ARGB components

I built a kinda Frankenstein PC out of Parts I already owned/got cheap second hand but am having problems with RGB since my mobo only has one 4pin RGB header but I have RGB and ARGB devices

RGB: CPU Cooler, led strips I wanna put on my desk

ARGB: GPU, four case Fans

I plugged the CPU cooler into my mobos 4 pin RGB header but I can still not control, no software recognizes it

\*\*Idrc abt argb effects I just want to change the color of all RGB/argb at once to be one solid color what's my best option here?\*\*

rn the gpu and cpu fan are just rainbow puking

==============================================

below is a list of relevant parts, the ram doesn't have any RGB:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: AMD Wraith Prism 2800 CFM CPU Cooler

Motherboard: ASRock A320M Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard Pro4

GPU: ASRock Phantom Gaming D OC Radeon RX 6800 XT 16 GB Video Card

Case: Lian Li Vector V100R ATX Mid Tower Case

Case Fans: The four that came with the case

Power Supply: Corsair CX (2023) 750 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

RGB Strips: I have no idea and I don't own the packaging anymore

planning on buying: Corsair K65 RGB MINI 60%

but I don't think there's a problem with the keyboard since that's just usb and has its own software

Light strips / bars that sync with PC audio (direct, no via a micrphone)

Do such things exist?

If so, do they go between the speaker's 3.5mm jack and the PC? If so, what if the speakers use 3x 3.5mm (such as my Logitech Z906 5.1 speakers)?

My RGB led strip mod is officially in the works - Angwatt T1 Max.

I reached out to angwatt customer service to get a new led controller.

The stock T1 Max only has permanent amber DRLs as you can see in the second pic, while its more recent sister, the F1 Max comes with rgb leds in the frame and stem.

I simply plan to install the F1 Max led control board into my T1 Max, as both models share ALL of their other electronics. So I expect this mod to be mostly plug and play.

I also asked for the two black rectangles in the first pic. They're actually handlebar mounted turn signals. I want them as they're mounted higher, so more visible than the stock turn signals. They're also much more repairable. Their 3pin connectors are exposed, as opposed to the stock ones that take opening up the chassis to unplug them directly off the led controller.

Finally, I asked for all of the F1 Max's led strips, as I don't know whether the stock strips are compatible with the new dynamic controller, and I also plan on adding the F1Max stem strip in other parts of my whip.

About that one, I'm hesitant. I originally wanted a plexi sheet between the frame and the mat to run the stem strip into. But I also have the idea of making a plexiglass piece and mount it on my stem. Though, I'm currently leaning more towards the later option since it'll be cheaper. I won't need to pay a professional to make a structural piece that'll take significant stress. What would you recommend?

Argb fan help

Im very confused on how the rgb for my pc build is gonna work.
Im building my first pc in about 5 days and ive got 11 fans (3 at the bottom, 3 at the front, 2 at the back and a 360mm aio), i understand that each fan needs to be plugged into a 3 pin argb slot in the mobo to sync the rbg but i also am seeing that i can just use signalrgb to sync all the rgb.
So my question is do i need to buy a rgb hub or not to plug in all 11 of the rgb fans or can i just use a software.
Can someone pls explain it to me in depth i cant find any videos and i feel like 11 fans is quite unique🙏

RBG help

Hey everyone, I had a question about the JONSBO fans and hoping someone here has figured this out.
I saw an Amazon review where the RGB light ring around the fan is one color while the fan blades are a completely different color. I’d love to replicate that effect, but I can’t figure out how they did it.

I’m controlling my RGB through SignalRGB. Since JONSBO isn’t officially supported, I had to create a custom device profile for the fans. I’m also not using the controller that came with the fans and have them connected directly to my motherboard’s 5V ARGB header.

Could the included JONSBO controller be what allows the outer light ring and inner fan LEDs to be controlled independently? Or is this possible through SignalRGB if the custom device is set up correctly?

Posted a picture of my setup alongside the Amazon review I’m referring to. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Can I sync the wireless Lian Li fans and stripers rgb to my motherboard and RAMs rgb so they will be the same color?

I'm upgrading my pc soon and I plan on getting Lian Li fans and stripers, I'm just not sure if I should get the wireless or wired versions and I'm having a bit of trouble finding the wired versions so I'm just wondering if RAM and motherboard RGB are compatible with the wireless Lian Li fans and stripers, I'm upgrading to a Ryzen 7 9800x3d with G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series 32GB RAM and the Gigabyte x870e Aorus elite wifi7 both of which have rgb, thanks.
