SL-INF 120 Hub Cable Question

I bought a Lian Li SL-INF 120 fan with a hub from someone second hand, but instead of the original cable they supplied a micro USB to USB cable.

I noticed the original connection is normally a 4-pin micro USB style connector, and the seller said they lost the original wire.

Just wanted to double check before I plug everything in. Would using the normal micro USB cable cause any issues, or stop any features from working? Is there any risk of damaging the hub or fan controller if I use it instead of the original cable?

How to get everything work together?

Hi, I don't quite know where to ask for advice. I have a relatively large/complex setup of iCue components. Mouse, keyboard, 10 fans, water pumps, water blocks, headset, mousepad. Maybe I forgot something else. I also have an Asus motherboard and a new gigabyte Aorus RX 9070xt. Unfortunately, with all the well-known solutions such as SignalRgb, openrgb, artemis rgb, I have not had a chance to control all the devices. Most of the time just one or two devices where not compatible with the chosen software. In addition, I would like to continue using icue, as I want to control all the functions away from the lighting. Does anyone have any idea what else I could try or do I have to put up with the fact that I have to run iCue, armoury crate and fusionrgb at the same time. I hope this is somewhat understandable and thank you in advance.

So I finished building my dream PC, and now I’m looking for some nice color variations. Do you have any suggestions? Right now I’m using a combination of turquoise and purple.

My new motherboard has no 12V RGB headers. Is there a controller to programmatically control the 12V RGB fans?

There are lots of such options for 5V ARGB (powered by motherboard's 5V or internal USB). Are 12V controllers completely extinct?
