Hello seniors. I have 24k rank, I want to secure a decent college in round 3 itself, I have 24k rank. By the reviews i will put rnsit above cmrit it seems, though same placements, rnsit just seems to be a chiller place with good faculties and good coding culture (correct me if I am wrong).

But, my board marks are very bad, which is the only reason I am hesitant as rnsit has a lot of cse intake. Do recruiters shortlist based on boards marks ? If not, then what is the shortlisting criteria?

When is the first year starting guys? Is it like in August month?

I'm joining rnsit ECE through management this year and I was going through some of the posts and saw people discussing the segregation stuff...is it based on the CGPA or solely on whether you got in through KCET, COMEDK and management...also will there be any kind of partiality among these batches...plz clarify...
