Currently playing Dead Flesh with hand drawn map tiles

Taking my time through a playthrough and made a d100 table of locations (mainly from 7DTD because that games so familiar to me). Every time I hit a new location I draw it on a tile and write any relevant information on the back of it.

Last night I helped a convoy of survivors out of a jam and instead of making new friends they took me for everything I had and left me to a 50+ sized horde of deaders.

Eulogy for Jack, my first PC in my Deadflesh solo play

Thank you all for giving me a place to share the art that comes from my solo playthroughs. Just got this one all finished up!

I started playing Dead Flesh recently because I really wanted to scratch that zombie apocalypse itch heading into spooky season and it’s been a blast.

Jack was my first PC and as you can see… things didn’t really pan out for him. This is a eulogy of sorts for his adventure.

He only lasted one day (but like three sessions passed in that time). In that time he met cannibals in an infested hospital that really wanted to see what he was made of.
He found an Abandoned broadcast station that he considered trying to fix but fell on an exposed pipe trying to climb into the window and hurt himself pretty good. When the sleepers that were in the building woke up he figured he should just come back when he felt better.
Eventually he found a group of 5 survivors with vehicle troubles that drew a horde but after he saved them from that debacle they helped themselves to all of his gear and drove off. Not enough seats I guess.

Narrowly avoided a zombie stuffed with explosives outside of a military bunker and ultimately met his end in alley trying to fight off 3 zombies and rolling a little too low when it counted.

He’ll be missed and then succeeded by Toby. Toby is a wandering nomad with a mountain lion for a companion… let’s see how long he lasts.
