Faster attack speed, healing etc

So I'm completely new to hosting any kind of RSPS services, never done it before but I am somewhat familiar with hosting my own services. I have a homelab and a pretty beefy server that can host my own stuff. My question is where do I go or are there any documents that I can follow to grab server files or to setup stuff? I'm aiming to kinda self host the previous Leagues but I'm not sure where to even start. Can anyone here point me in the right direction?

i haven't played private servers before. i saw a thread on here from 3 years ago that mentioned only a few private servers are OSRS servers, most are modified RS2 private servers. are there actually a few OSRS servers tho? what are they?

2004 PK Scape

Hey, we’re opening alpha testing for 2004 PK Scape.

The idea is simple: this is not meant to be a heavily custom RSPS. It runs on the 2004Scape engine, and the goal is to keep the game as close to 2004Scape as possible, just with a PK-focused setup and a few small QOL/balance changes to make Wilderness testing more active.

Starter setup	10M starter gear
Main hub	Edgeville spawn and death point
PK flow	Wilderness starts at level 15
Combat rules	No teleporting while in combat in Wilderness
Controls	F-key hotkeys, attack option first
Prayers	Mystic Lore and Hawk Eye give 10% boosts for magic/range QOL
Magic	God spell max hit increased to 35, because magic in 2004Scape was very weak for PKing
Bounty Hunter	Targets assigned every 3 minutes, target teleport, guaranteed casket on target kill
Drops	Random drops, taxed drops, 10% casket chance from non-target kills

Caskets can include clue scroll items, Santa hats, Halloween masks, and very rare Party hats.

The main direction is:

2004Scape first. PK-oriented second. Small QOL only where needed.

We’re not trying to turn it into a modern custom server with random overloaded systems. This is mostly for people who like the 2004Scape feel but want more PK activity around Edgeville/Wilderness.

I’ve been working on a rsps project for a couple of days and I’ve run into an issue. I’m not very creative lol I just enjoy putting things together. I would love some help theorycrafting for the server. I’ve got a discord (only me so far in it) for where im putting my thoughts. If youre interested just say the word and I’ll invite you to it and we can get you setup with the project.

Currently implemented is a new game mode (“Now I can play the game”), a starter area that I need help filling out, a donor zone that I may change location but need help filling out. Name is tbd but the project title is ZSCAPE. No leagues planned as of now. End goal is pretty much regular rs with better rates and mild custom content, but nothing that would feel too out of place in the main game. (Think variants to existing items rather than introducing my own)

If you played RSPS back then, you definitely remember the non-stop switching practice, the hype community, the classic custom setups, and just pure, unadulterated PvP fun without the stress of losing your bank. It was an elite time to be part of the private server scene.
If you miss that specific era as much as I do, I have some exciting news. I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to recreate that exact experience, and I am planning to launch a DragonScape 525-inspired Fun PK server very soon!
The goal is to completely capture that authentic 2009 nostalgia—clean 525 PvP mechanics, fast-paced instant action, and that classic community vibe we all fell in love with. I want to bring back the exact server style that a lot of us have been craving for years.

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking about playing some Old School RuneScape private servers in my free time, but I'm a bit concerned about security.

A friend told me that some private servers could potentially log my IP address and somehow use it to gain access to my official OSRS account or even steal items from my bank.

I currently use a separate password and have 2FA enabled on my official OSRS account, but I would like to know how realistic this risk actually is.

Can a RuneScape private server owner or staff member realistically compromise an official OSRS account just by having a player's IP address? Has anyone here had any bad experiences with private servers affecting their real OSRS account?

What security precautions would you recommend before trying a private server?

Asked this before but only got 2 replies that might have just been bots because they didn't have AUS/OCE servers.

I have played AugustRSPS and really enjoyed it, but i've done all I want to do for the current league and will definitely return. Anyone know if there is any other private server with AUS/OCE servers?
