Fishing at Doubletree

Thinking about taking my family for a weekend trip to the Milwaukee area and found the Doubletree in Racine when I was looking around. I love to fish and so do my kids - how is the fishing around the hotel? Can we fish off the docks at that marina? And can we walk out by that lighthouse area and fish there?

Appreciate any insight you guys could provide!

Electric power.

This is more of just a discussion but I have energy monitor devices that show me my homes voltage and wattage output. Ik most people don’t but I’ve noticed this year we never really got the “bump up” in power for my area. To give more information last year during the summer our substation will provide more power which for me in any case will lead to better voltage stability and give me more voltage as most my outlets will sit at 120v but when we had the bump up it would jump to 124-125. This year I’ve noticed the same voltage stability since last winter, and it’s almost like we never got the bump up in steady power for the summer. Could this be because of all the data centers? Are they now prioritizing more power to commercial customers and less to resident customers? If this is somewhat true the hotter it gets the more instability we will have on our grid for hot humid days like these heat waves we had. They say that they are paying for their own spot in the power stations but does that now mean our power company will put us as second priority in order to provide the correct and more stable voltage to the data centers???

Racine fish/aquarium keepers! Please help!

I keep fancy goldfish and recently my main tank sprung a leak. Since transferring them to a smaller temp tank (with lots of old water and all old filter media), I’ve been fighting off high levels of ammonia. I’m getting worried for one of my favorite fish.

Is there anyone who has a well cycled freshwater aquarium who would be willing to give me some filter media (sponges etc) to help make this temp tank more safe until I can safely setup my larger one?

If you or anyone you know keeps freshwater fish and would be willing to help, please let me know!

Thank you!!

House seed

Anyone have recommendations on an attorney/lawyer for transferring a paid off house from parents to adult children? There is a medical emergency in the family and we need to do the transfer. Thanks in advance
