RadioSquare your Radio FM without ads

Hey everyone! Who wants a radio app without ads?

I’ve been working on a little side project called RadioSquare.

It’s basically a radio app focused on one thing: listening to radio stations without annoying ads everywhere 😅

You can listen to thousands of stations from all over the world, search by country or genre, save favourites, and keep listening in the background while using other apps.

I originally made it because most radio apps I tried felt bloated, full of ads, or outdated. I wanted something cleaner, faster & simpler.

It’s completely free, so if anyone wants to try it out and give me honest feedback, I’d really appreciate it 🙌

New subreddit rule for self-promotion posts

Hey folks! With the rising activity in this subreddit lately, we wanted to help protect the sub from looking too "spammy" and maintain the quality discussions that are (mostly!) about the Radio Garden app. So we have a new rule:

>All self-promo posts must use the "Self-Promotion" flair and disclose affiliation.

Further:

>Self-promo posts require the "Self-Promotion" flair and disclosure of affiliation to the post content within the title, body, or comments.

Posts without these requirements are subject to removal and repeated violations are subject to ban.

If you feel that your post was removed in error (like you found another radio-like web app that you wanted to share with the community and which you had zero affiliation with), please message the mods!

I'm not at all against self-promotion, but I know that when I find a new niche subreddit, it's always a bummer to find that most the posts are self-promotion and spam. We certainly don't want to turn away new members or have them feel like this sub is a vehicle for self-promotion—especially because there's loads of quality content and discussions to participate in!

Best,

-l

Radio/App

Does anyone know of a channel on the Radio Garden App that will be broadcasting the USA vs Bosnia Herzegovina match in English on 7/1/26?

Looking for feedback on a radio app I’ve been building

I’ve been working on a lightweight online radio app called Radio Wavr.

The idea was to create something fast and simple:

  • open the app,
  • pick a station,
  • start listening immediately.

No clutter, no complicated menus.

Current features:

  • global FM/online radio stations
  • favorites
  • last station resume
  • browsing by country
  • clean modern UI

I’m still improving it and would love honest feedback about usability, design or missing features from people who use radio apps often.

I believe online radio deserves a stronger place in 2026

Dear online radio lovers!

It's great to see that I'm not the only person who still loves internet radio in 2026.

I also understand why online radio isn't more popular today. Most radio websites and apps feel outdated, noisy, full of ads, and simply can't compete with modern streaming apps.

I felt that online radio deserves a better experience, so I built Frequentia: a free, ad-free platform designed for everyday listening.

It includes things like:

  • mood pages
  • favorites
  • listening history
  • listening statistics, listening time
  • regions
  • fast search
  • light / dark theme

The project is still very young and I'm actively working on it, but I'd genuinely love to hear what other radio enthusiasts think.

Do you still listen to online radio regularly? What features do you miss from existing radio apps?

best stations for electronic pop/any really good college stations?

I downloaded this app to hopefully find some really cool songs and artists that I haven’t heard before. I really like artists like ear, cece natalie, the hellp, operelly. I’m trying to find stuff like that and I tend to like radios run by the younger crowd.

Old school outlaw country/western?

Hey guys, anyone know of a station that plays 50s through maybe 70s western and outlaw country? I’ve tried searching radio garden and this subreddit to no avail. Surely there has to be one? Thanks!
