Bought a 2-yr NordVPN Basic Plan today, using Rakuten's 100x points link. I still don't see the Points Activity or "Order Placed" confirmation on Rakuten's Shopping Trips page. Never been a NordVPN customer before.

For NordVPN posting time, Rakuten says: "Cash Back will be automatically added to your Rakuten account today."

My question is: How long do these points from NordVPN take to show up as Pending?

I’d like to take advantage of the $50 referral offer: refer someone, when they spend $50, Rakuten pays us both $50.

I’d like to refer my husband, son and daughter, sending them a referral link. Then I believe there is a 2% Rakuten cash back offer on Giftcards.com. The fine print says the 2% not good on giftcards.com e giftcards -but it should work on other giftcards listed on their site, some with 10% off codes, right?

Can I purchase a $50 Hulu.com gift card and redeem it on a new streaming subscription membership for Hulu, Disney + and HBO max? It looks like Disney giftcards can also be purchased to be used for streaming services too. I’d make all $50 purchases for my husband, son & daughter & they could keep the $50 they earn.

I plan use to use my Bilt Palladium card for 3x to make my purchase. Three $50 referrals = $150 or 15,000 Bilt points = 15,000 Hyatt points!!

Any flaws in my plan?

It says sound products are not eligible. If I order a TV and get a soundbar in same purchase will it invalidate the entire 5X points for the order?

Basically the title. I took advantage of the $100 CB for opening a SoFi crypto account with a minimum $30 purchase. I'm a new Rakuten user, so was unaware that it had to be 30 dollars after fees. Shitty thing is I never would have done this deal at all if not for the generous cash back offer. I think crypto is a terrible investment. To add insult to injury, the value of that crypto has dropped about 30% since I bought it last month. So now I'm actually at a loss right now because of this "deal."

I've dealt with similar deals like what Rakuten offers using my credit cards many times before, so I always read the terms and conditions in their entirety to make sure I qualify for the offer. I am 100% certain that it said no such thing about the $30 being after fees, but that's what Rakuten used as their justification for deeming the offer ineligible. I shot them a final email two days ago basically saying this feels like a bad faith catch and to honor their end of the bargain, but I haven't heard anything back from them.

Has anyone had a similar experience with the SoFi Crypto offer? Any chance they'll honor the promotion? This experience with Rakuten has left a bad taste in my mouth. This is only the second time I've utilized their service, and as you can probably guess, I'm not happy.

I’ve used up the bank and credit card bonuses. Anything else good?

I’m interested in opening a SoFi account to trigger the direct deposit bonus and stack it with the Rakuten bonus.

The issue is that I’m a freelancer, so my payments don’t usually come in as a traditional payroll direct deposit. Has anyone found a reliable way to trigger SoFi’s direct deposit requirement using things like Schwab, Venmo, TreasuryDirect, payment apps, or any other method?

Also, are there any services/apps that can send payments coded as direct deposit, even if there’s a fee?

Not looking to do anything sketchy, just trying to figure out what actually counts before opening the account.

I know a lot of folks have used the BOFA offer, currently my payout is set to MR rewards point, I understand to get the BOFA offer, i will need to set it to check or cash.

My question is that if I get the offer (do all the setup etc) and then switch back to MR points... does the 250$ get converted to points or does it still remain as cash. or it does not let you convert back to MR points until the payout is completed?

Data point: in case you’re looking for flowers, I bought a bouquet off of Teleflora and got the 11x by checking out on Paze with my CSP as well as 15x back by first clicking through on Rakuten to Teleflora. Purchased Saturday and both the 11x is showing on CSP as well as the 15x showing in my Rakuten rewards. Those convert/pay out as points back to the Bilt Palladium.

Did Rakuten remove Lululemon? I haven’t seen it pop up if I search via web it says no points bummer, I have gift cards I need to use!

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a shocking experience with Rakuten’s blatant consumer deception and lack of compliance.

Back in April, I made three major purchases on the exact same day, using the exact same device and browser session under a 4X Amex MR points promotion. Two smaller transactions ($902 and $1,581) tracked perfectly, but the largest one—a $3,000 purchase on Celebrity Cruises (worth 12,000 MR points)—was selectively denied.

When Rakuten support gave me ridiculous excuses, I filed a formal complaint with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office (AZAG).

Guess what? I just received an official letter from the AZAG stating that they made **"numerous attempts to contact Rakuten, but were not able to obtain a response."**Rakuten literally ghosted a government investigation to avoid paying out a rightful $120 worth of points.

If they can ignore a State Attorney General, they can do this to any of you. Watch out for your high-value transactions. They are a shady company that will actively dodge legal accountability.

Has anyone successfully forced Amex to step in after Rakuten ghosted a government agency? I’m escalationg this with Amex next

If I've activated a Citi Merchant Offer (for an online merchant) and then I shop at that merchant through Rakuten, and pay with my Citi card, will I get the Rakuten reward as well as the Citi payout?

I'm not familiar much with Rakuten and I had bad luck with their cashback lately. Got denied on some claim which they never explained why. However, i saw this Surfshark 97X, is that 97% cashback? I have missed the 100X incogni few months back, so i think getting SS One+ including incogni would be cheaper and better?

Sorry i'm new to this rakuten stuff.

Opened a Kraken account back in early May when the cashback offer was $200 for a minimum $200 transaction.

I opened up the account and made a $210 trade, which even after the transaction fee, meets the minimum transaction requirement.

The transaction was never logged onto Rakuten, I had to add it myself and create an inquiry. I provided them everything - the order #, Transaction ID, the transaction details and amount as well as the confirmation email from Kraken...

I had a month of automated emails saying Rakuten is still 'waiting for confirmation" from Kraken... today they simply invalidated the cashback and marked it as ineligible.

This is ridiculous.

I'm in the market for a home NAS and saw they had 8% back yesterday, but it's a big purchase so I floundered. I go back today and now it's dropped to 4%! I'm kicking myself for not jumping on it when I had the chance. UGreen only has their Amazon prime/summer sale for a couple more days, am I out of luck now?
