Q: Does distance have any effect on the guru's grace?

M: Time and space are within us. Time is only an idea. There is only the Reality.

Whatever your opinions, that is the way it appears. If you call it time, it is time. If you call it existence, it is existence. And some, after calling it time, divide it into days, months, and years.

Reality cannot be new. It must exist even now, and it does exist. There is in that state no present, no past, nor future. It is beyond time. It is ever there.

Sri Krishna says, 'I am time.' Can time have a shape?

Even the universal vision shown by Krishna to Arjuna on the physical plane is absurd. The seer is also in the seen. Even a mesmerist can make one see strange scenes. You call that one a trick, but the other divine. Why this difference?

Anything seen cannot be real. That is the truth.

On what days is special lunch served in Ramana Ashram?

Regular visitors and old timers would know the answer to this. On some days special lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. to ALL outside the dining all. Usually one needs to stay at the ashram to have lunch there but on these days it is free for all and the crowd will be huge as well. I think this special lunch is served on all Punarvasu days. Does anyone know on which other days is it served? Example Pradosham day/Ganapati Muni day etc too?

I am obsessed with almost everything including food and the fragrant sambrani they burn twice every day throughout the ashram. Might take a one day trip just to have the special food! Nothing beats the experience of getting to stay at the ashram though.

Next best place to stay after Ramana Ashram in tiruvannamalai?

It should be economical, close to the ashram and tidy. Guess this is not as easy as it sounds. Almost all the homestays/dormitories have some or the other negative reviews (perhaps written by competitors! or else situated at a distance. But then how to get a nice place for few days?
