To the girl with the white OG 3DS on the EOTI
First thing, you made my day, I love that console and the family and nice to see people still use it.
Second thing, if you made a video in 3D mode, could you share it?

I feel like dubstep is becomming an afterthought at rampage.
Only 6 dubstep artists at the mainstage, storm being way to small for the crowd. People were standing on the main pathway just to see a bit of the storm stage, but at the same time you get blasted with the music from main.
At some point, 7 out of the 8 stages were playing DnB...
I went to Rampage Open Air yesterday, Saturday, and before I say anything else: I had a blast. Good vibes, great community as always, and overall an awesome time.
That being said, as a Belgian, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing Rampage from its humble beginnings in Trix and watching it grow into Lotto Arena and Sportpaleis. For me, Rampage has always been about the music, the people, and also the insane light shows.
Maybe I’m remembering it wrong, but when the Dome was the mainstage, it felt like they were able to create bigger and better light shows because it kind of resembled an indoor venue. With the new mainstage, I found the lighting to be a bit lacking overall. I barely noticed any lasers, unless I somehow completely missed them.
With the big Ferris wheel in the background, I can imagine it’s difficult to use a lot of lasers there, since you’d always risk hitting people in the eyes. Maybe there are also regulations around it, like planes or other safety rules. I don’t know. But overall, I was a bit disappointed with the new mainstage production.
At the same time, this does remind me a bit of Rampage’s “humble” beginnings again. Rampage itself is obviously not small anymore, but the Open Air festival hasn’t been around for that long yet. There’s still a lot of room for improvement each year, and I’m sure they’ll keep growing bigger and better.
However, I do think they should consider increasing the overall venue size. I actually like Rampage being a somewhat smaller festival, but this year it felt like several stages were too cramped. When you were standing in front of the Storm stage, you were getting blasted by dubstep from Storm and DnB from the mainstage at the same time. The Storm stage itself also felt too small, so standing inside wasn’t always a pleasant option either.
To me, it feels like the festival is starting to struggle a bit with its own success. It probably needs a bigger venue or at least more space between stages in the coming years. And if they want to keep expanding the mainstage as well, they’ll need more room anyway.
Again, don’t get me wrong: I had a great time, as always, and I’ll definitely keep coming back to watch Rampage grow year after year. I just hope they take some notes from this edition, because there’s still a lot of potential to make Open Air even better.
Hey everyone
This would've been my first Rampage ever. I bought my sunday ticket last week but I forgot to 'personalise'. This process had apparently a deadline (5th july 11AM). So now, i can't download my ticket. This is really unfair.
I sold my ticket, and bought a new ticket with a voucher. Same problem.
I've tried to contact the organisation. The paylogic chatbot was no help. Rampage didn't read my message on instagram. There is no phone number.
Please help.
Edit: there was a kind stranger who told me i could ask the community to help upvote, maybe the organisation could see it then.
Edit 2: i solved it. If you're having the same problem: install the Appic app, open the appic-link at the bottom of your reservation mail, do not open the link in the middle of the mail. Follow instructions in the appic app. You'll get your ticket in the in-app wallet. After the whole process, you'll receive a confirmation mail from Rampage in your mailbox with a pdf ticket.
Anyone know the name of the dj/djs playing the Jupiler stage around 11:30pm-12am was popping offff
I can hear people talking around me and cannot hear the music. Wtf?
Editing for better description: Main Stage and Dome after 10 PM.
ShockOne B2b Aeon Mode, Mefjus, and Black Sun Empire. The sound wasn't thin, but it was super quiet. When they spoke on the mic, it was at least 50% louder than the music itself.
Main for Camo & Crooked and Hedex. For Hedex specifically, after 40 minutes, they started what looked like calibrating speakers. You could hear the sound stage moving front and back, some side movement too, adjusting lows, trying to fix the mids.
For reference: a picture of the VU meters hitting only half the scale on Dome stage during ShockOne B2B AEON Mode
doesn't care the slightest about the crowd, basically just playing a premade set, jumping all over the place and texting someone all the time
be careful leaving your stuff in the tents soldiers
I’m going on saturday and kind of want to bring a few joints along, can anyone tell me how bad the security check is. Thanks in advance if anyone can let me know!!
Hello everyone,
So I wasn't really planning on doing Rampage this year but I'm pretty curious about the new mainstage so I think I may try to pass by for just a day on Friday or Sunday.
It's a bit late for hotels or getting a camping ticket, so I was wondering if anyone had any experience with sleeping in your car in the parking lot?
Does security do the rounds to make sure no ones doing it, or is it sort of accepted as long as you're not trying to throw an afterparty next to your car?
i bought a pack of wine (3L) thinking we can bring 3L of alcoholic beverage. But then I realised we’re only allowed to bring cans. Do they actually mind? Idk where to find canned wine😅
Okayy so I’m known to always leave stuff to the last minute. I guess nothing has changed 😆
I’m Bianca, late 20’s from Australia. I’m coming to my first Rampage solo. So damn excited!!
I’ll be camping from tmw. Would love to make friends with anyone that is keen to! I’m very fun, friendly and a pretty hardcore raver.
I’ll also be on the early express party train.
The lineup is insane and next level compared to the ones in AUS 🥹 Can’t wait to meet some of you guys.
* if someone has an air pump I can borrow on site that would be amazing
* planning to get food/alcohol at the nearby Aldi as I can’t carry everything.
Hey guysss. I'll be at rampage friday and was wondering if any girlies wanted to meet up as i'll be going solo that day. I'm 28 (F) from belgiul and i speak dutch and english :)
Is it allowed to bring your music speaker like JBL, Teufel or Soundboks?
The FAQ's don't mention that.
i’m planning on leaving the campsite on monday morning and going to a train station (Mol or Lommel) so i can take a train to Antwerp. it doesn’t seem like there’s any shuttle tickets to Mol station available on the website for monday, so i was wondering what the best option was to get to either of those stations.
