Image artifacts in Rawtherapee

Hello everyone,

I hope this is the right place for this question (instead of r/rawtherapee), which may or may not be simple:

What is the reason for these image artifacts in Rawtherapee that you can see around the petals and all over the canopy? I took these fotos with a Sony DSC-F828, the artifacts are not there in the original .SRF (not sure how I would make these accessible if necessary) or accompanying .JPG files. I have done 0 image processing, just opened it in RT (the artifacts where showing in-program already) and just exported them for test purposes / uploading here.

+ How do I remove / not get them in the first place?

Thanks in advance!
