Realme GT 6T battery issues (Need suggestions/help)

Been using my GT 6T for almost 1 year and 10 months and I've been noticing many weird battery issues with this phone. Not just in UI 7.0 but also in UI 6.0.

And it's not just bad battery backup. It's just weird behaviour.

If the battery drops below 20% it takes almost 2 hours to fully charge.

If I charge it above 20% it charges fully in just about 45mins.

Sometimes even after fully charging to 100% the battery will keep dropping even without any use. I have to plug it in again and leave it for a long time only then it drains normally.

Sometimes I get insane battery backup like 7 or 8 plus hours of sot and still 20% left.

And then there are some bad days or weeks where the battery behaves like I mentioned earlier.

The battery health is at 97% despite being almost two years old.

There is no bulging or swelling, everything seems fine. No unusual heating either.

Idk wtf is wrong. Because every other aspect of this phone is soo good. Performance, camera, gaming, multimedia etc etc is all perfect. Except the inconsistent battery readings

Should I replace my battery?

And also are there any good custom roms available for this phone? Because I think realme ui might be the problem here.

Edit: forgot to mention a couple more issues.

The standby battery drain during the night is horrible.

Normally I'd lose 4 to 6 percent during the night (which is still worse than alot of older phones I've owned)

But if I go to sleep while the battery percent is at 20% or nearby 20% (because I don't want to charge overnight)

It would already be completely dead by the morning lol

And yes, battery below 20% doesn't last at all. Barely 5 to 10 mins under normal use and it will shut down.

Wtf is wrong with the camera of my GT 7?

Why is the 2x lens so blue? And what is that b/w colour shift gitter after clicking a photo? (Running on the latest realme UI 7) (edit- night mode doesn't affect anything in this scenario, I've tried turning it off, nothing changes)

Realme 16 pro plus 512gb for 386 euros... a good buy?

I bought the Realme 16 Pro Plus 512GB/12GB on sale for 386 euros. What do you think? Is it a good buy for the price?

Does anyone have this phone and can give me their opinion? I'm coming from a Poco X5 Pro.

Realme GT 7 stuck on realme UI 7.0 update – Clear cache didn't work, need help!

Hey everyone,

I'm having trouble downloading the new realme UI 7.0 update on my Realme GT 7. Every time I try, the download just fails or won't start.

I've already tried going into App Management and clearing the data/cache for the Software Update app, but that didn't fix anything.

Has anyone else faced this glitch on their GT 7 or found a way to bypass it? Any solutions or workarounds would be massively appreciated

I want to install a coustom rom on my realme 11 5g (8GB Ram, 256GB Storage)

Hey there I was looking for any coustom rom I can find since realme 11 5g ui is quite boring to me other than that this phone heat a lot (ok it's because of whether and stuff but still in general it also heat up) other than that my phone don't hold up much battery backup it's like 1.5 year old now since I bought it and but still I think it's because of my launcher I was looking for something light and I got some stuff running in the background too but that's another story

other than that customisation potential is low and I was looking for something new

Upgrade 6.0 to 7.0

Before update there was also default option in app icon which is removed and the 7.0 icons look shit, many other icons got changed, can i get the default option back? I still can't change the app icon with edit option too, the old icon 6.0 version is way too good from the 7.0 version

realme phone stuck on bootloop

Hi guys, my younger sibling's phone has been acting up. It's going through this bootloop where it would turn off, vibrate after a few seconds, turn on with the realme and android logo, then this.

I tried looking up different tutorials on youtube, but most were about recovery mode, which I assume it is not the case for my sibling's phone, and others about restarting the phone which doesnt work. I've also tried looking for similar cases here in Reddit, but so far none.

I'm worried that my sibling will wake up to find their phone not working, because this is their main phone and they have lots of stuff in it.

I'd really appreciate any advice on how to fix this, as I'm going to have this sent to a technician as a last resort.

Thank you

Are we seriously cutting corners here?

First one is gt 7 which I bought recently and the second is realme x 7 max which I bought about 5 years ago. The newer gt 7 has even less customisable like bro I can't set my home screen the way I want after paying 42k

Is GT8 Pro worth it?

I'm currently on a Realme GT2 Pro with 256GB. But it's not enough now, the battery died too fast, it started to overheat, and the performance on my favorite games drops with each month. My current phone did a great job for the past years but it's time for change.

And there I saw the Realme GT8 Pro Aston Martin edition with 1TB (imported from china since European model is capped at 512GB, at least in Poland) and I have a genuine question.

IS IT WORTH IT? Because in my country it will turn out really cheap unlike buying similar ones with 512GB in europe (about 2000 PLN less for twice as much of memory)

And what is the difference between the normal GT8 Pro and GT8 Pro Aston Martin edition? Is there any change in UI or is everything the same?

[HELP] Realme GT says my correct PIN is wrong after battery died

Please help — I’m having a serious issue with my Realme GT phone after restarting it.

I was traveling and using the phone while it was at 1% battery. The phone eventually turned off normally because the battery died. After charging it and turning it back on, the PIN screen appears normally, but it keeps saying my PIN is incorrect even though I am 100% sure it’s the right PIN.

What’s strange is that it now gives me unlimited tries. Usually Android only allows a few attempts before locking or asking for another verification method. That makes me think this could be some kind of system glitch or encryption issue.

I absolutely cannot factory reset the phone because I have over 10,000 memories/photos/files on it that are extremely important to me.

Has anyone experienced this before or knows possible solutions?
Things I’m considering:

  • waiting for the phone to charge more
  • restarting again
  • safe mode
  • recovery options without data loss
  • whether the battery dying caused an Android encryption glitch

Any help or suggestions would mean a lot to me. I really appreciate it.
