Happened to be driving on the SW of town today and noticed a lot of homes that were vandalized with “ICU” in black spray paint. Does it mean something in particular or just some vagrants trying to be funny and destructive? Near Umatilla Ave.

I know this weekend theres some folkish? Festival in sisters. Thinking about going but im not a fan of giant crowds and don’t have any people to go with.

I just stumpled onto what I guess is “dark Americana/Altfolk” is what I see it called online but its bands like Amigo the Devil, murder by death, Gogol Bordello, Days n days, Decemberist. Theyre all kinda different but have a similar like upbeat folky sound you can dance to but kinda dark depressing lyrics. I just really wanna go be around that and people who also dig it but maybe in like a dive bar setting to start?

Idk I moved out here last year and been to Duffys a few times which was fun but just not quite the same vibe. I’ve never really had the urge to go to a show or concert, i was always good with chilling and listening and drinking at a hangout but this new stuff I just really wanna be around the sound live.

Appreciate any suggestions.

As the title im just looking for the cheapest and best way to get to redmond oregon. Its not feasible for me to drive since im taking the train from tacoma to vancouver wa already. Please let me know! Thank you

I need to leave a car in Redmond for about a week. Anyone parked long term at the airport? Car safety and price? I can’t find much online. Are there any other options in town?
