Overall with the sale, to get this quality at basically $100 total shipped I couldnt be more happy, the leather & build feels very good. The colors seem accurate & the cracking texture around the toe is amazing to the touch. For the flaws, I will be using like a sponge brush & black paint on the toe to get those darker black spots like retail. I also will red paint splatter the laces just to give it a bloody edge that Jason would be proud of. These unfortunately did not come with the red laces, idk if that was just my pair but yea 9/10 for me.

Little update. Got a pair of authentic zen grey’s on the way. Will post an update and do a comparison of the previous reps to really show everyone the issues with the GX/H12 batch.

Also got the soles being shipped right now. Already headed to their next destination, but it might not be until the end of August/ beginning of September for the update on those.

Finally, got a pair of the Air Force 1 ‘01s that have the same last shape as the Yeezys. Am working on getting a good cast of it and building my own last since no one has them, and even rep makers in China are sticking to the old lasts so I had no luck there. (shoutout boring for the assist on that).

But yeah, little update on my part. Will update on the next steps once there’s more to update.

I finally decided to pull the trigger on the ’85 Neutral Grey 1s, and after getting them in hand, here are my initial thoughts.

What I like:

Ankle height and overall toe-box shape
Quality and feel of the leather
Soft, padded insoles
Overall fit and feel on foot

What I noticed:

Some stitching inconsistencies between the left and right shoes

Minor differences in the toe-box perforation size and spacing
Interestingly, both shoes have a faint/micro Swoosh outline that appears to be from the factory

I was torn between sizing down to a 8 for smaller space on the toe-box, but re-lacing and trying on gives moderate comfort and not too much crowding on the toe-box.

I am looking forward to wearing with care and seeing the progression in the next year. I hope to revisit back and see everyone that has supported this page with their shoes worn in
