Pro 2 V5.3HR+ honest review

I’ve been using the pro 2 v5.3hr+ for daily use, so here are my thoughts after trying them out for a while

Build:
they feel pretty solid for the price. nothing feels loose or cheap. the finish is clean and the metal detail on the earbuds looks nice. the case opens and closes firmly, and the buttons/touch controls all work normally

Sound:
compared to the v5.2tb I used before, these sound a bit more balanced and cleaner overall. vocals are clearer and the tuning feels less messy. after a small EQ adjustment, music sounds pretty good for everyday listening

ANC:
noise cancelling is decent. it won’t feel like retail-level, but it does a good job reducing background noise in normal use

Transparency:
I don’t really use it much, but when I tested it, it was okay and still usable

Battery:
battery life has been fine so far. both the earbuds and case last long enough for normal daily use

Overall:
pretty decent for the price. nothing crazy, but solid build, okay sound, and usable ANC

Dyson HD16 vs HD08 real comparison after use

I’ve used the HD08 for a while and recently switched to the HD16, so here’s a comparison based on actual use

Build/design: HD16 feels more premium overall
• packaging + accessories feel more complete
• slightly heavier than HD08 but feels more solid
• transparent back looks way more modern
HD08 is simpler, more basic in comparison

Airflow/drying: HD16 is more stable and controlled airflow
• doesn’t randomly feel inconsistent
• dries hair faster and feels smoother on the scalp
• HD08 is still good but less refined in airflow consistency

Temperature/protection: HD16 has scalp protection mode
• keeps temp around 55°C when close to scalp (10cm)
• feels safer/less harsh when drying close
• HD08: basic temperature control only

Noise: HD16 is slightly quieter
• sound feels smoother, less sharp
• HD08 is a bit more noticeable in tone

Extra features: HD16 has auto pause heating
stops when laid flat
• resumes when picked up
• HD08 doesn’t have this feature

Overall: HD16 is basically a more refined version of HD08
• better airflow stability
• more smart features
• better design feel
• but it’s also more expensive (around +1/3 price), so the upgrade depends on whether you care about those improvements

Max V2 TB impressions after a few days

I’ve been using the max v2 tb headphones recently so I figured I'd write down some thoughts about them

Build quality: probably the first thing that stood out to me. the whole thing feels solid in hand and the outer shell of the earcups is metal, which makes them feel more premium than I expected. when rotating/adjusting the earcups there’s a slight friction sound sometimes, but the movement itself still feels smooth and satisfying

Sound: these are definitely more bass-focused. low end is pretty strong and the overall sound feels warm/full instead of super sharp or analytical. detail retrieval obviously isn’t on the same level as retail pairs, but considering the price I honestly think they perform pretty well. they also get noticeably louder than retail from what I tested

ANC/transparency: the ANC hardware itself actually seems pretty capable, but the software tuning still feels a bit behind compared to retail. it still works fine for daily use tho. transparency mode is decent too, although there’s a little bit of background hiss/static when it’s on. even with that, nearby voices are still easy enough to hear clearly

Battery: battery life has been solid so far. i used them continuously for around 4 hours and still had 78% left afterwards. they also weren’t fully charged when I started using them, so honestly no complaints there

Overall: I don’t think they’re perfect obviously, but for the price I think they’re pretty good overall. solid build quality, enjoyable sound if you like bass, decent ANC, and good battery life

Airpods max review after a few weeks

I got the black airpods max recently and I’ve been using them for a while now so I figured I'd share my thoughts

First thing I noticed was the build quality. everything feels really solid and premium, even the packaging was nicer than I expected

For sound, they’re decent but the tuning is a little too bass heavy for me personally. I ended up adjusting the EQ myself to make it sound more balanced. the presets in the flycc app weren’t really my thing either

ANC and transparency mode are okay. they definitely work, especially for stuff like fan noise or traffic outside, but I don’t think they’re as crazy as people make them sound

One weird thing I noticed was when I was cooking with the gas stove on, the ANC started acting strange because of interference lol

Transparency mode is actually pretty nice tho, I just don’t use it much since I usually leave ANC on

Comfort/build quality is probably the best part for me. the metal body feels nice, the ear cushions are soft, and they’re comfortable enough to wear for a long time

battery life’s been really good too. I use them for hours every day and barely have to charge them

Connection has also been super stable so far

If you’re really into audio and super picky with sound tuning, these might not be for you. but if you’re upgrading from cheaper headphones or earbuds, I think they’re pretty worth it overall

I'd probably give them a 9/10

Ralph Lauren Linen Shirt: Real vs. Fake Comparison

One is an authentic piece my friend bought, and the other is a replica version I purchased. See if you can guess which one looks more expensive, has better materials, and—most importantly—which one is the genuine article!

Thoughts on the V5.3HR+ (upgraded from 5.3TB)

I’ve been using the v5.3HR+ for a bit now as a daily driver. I previously had the 5.3TB version, so I wanted to see if the upgrade was actually worth it

The build is solid, case has some weight to it and the hinge feels sturdy enough for daily use. The metal accents on the back are actually decent and don’t look like cheap plastic

Sound wise, it's a step up from the TB batch. I had to tweak the EQ a little bit to get it where I liked it, but once that was done, it sounded clean. I haven't run into any issues with background static or floor noise on my unit.

The ANC is okay for the price. It's definitely better than the old version and feels a bit more natural when it’s on. I don’t use transparency mode much, but it seems to do the job without sounding too artificial.

Battery life has been the biggest surprise, it actually lasts thru my work day and the case holds a charge well. I use these with my mac and the device switching has been pretty smooth so far, which was the main thing I was looking for

it’s a decent option if you’re looking for a low-key pair that actually plays nice with the apple ecosystem

V5.3hr+ Airpods pro review

Sound (9/10)
• I'm honestly really happy with how these sound. I used the flycc app and switched the eq to clear vocals and it keeps the bass punchy but makes the voices way more crisp. everything i’ve listened to sounds pretty high quality

Mic (8/10)
• I was kinda worried about the mic but it’s actually solid. I’ve taken calls while walking through traffic and in some wind, and the person on the other end said they could hear me just fine

ANC & transparency (9/10)
• it does works well for daily noise, but the real test was in a recording studio. even with loud guitars/amps going, it suppressed the sound way better than i expected. The transparency feels natural, no muffled or underwater feeling

Features (9/10)
• The adaptive feature works smoothly as you move between quiet and loud spots
• dual connection is huge for me. It swaps between my OnePlus 12R and MacBook Air without any lag.
• Detection: the in-ear sensor is fast and hasn't glitched out yet

Battery Life (10/10)
• I haven’t done a full drain test yet but it’s been holding up really well through long sessions. looks like it’s gonna last a while
