Was incredibly fortunate to win James' raffle a couple weeks back (#46!) and immediately knew the piece I was after - the blue dial VC 4500v from PPF with quick change steel bracelet and rubber strap. James reached out and ordered it for me right away. QC pics arrived in a couple of days. Unfortunately, the first one had some index and date window alignment issues so had to RL. James was great throughout the entire process and we agreed to order another. The second unit arrived about a week later, received QC pics right away and gave the GL. James got it shipped out the same day and provided tracking info.

The dial is as advertised - absolutely gorgeous, you have to see it in person. The strap change system is really convenient and the build quality from PPF seems legit at first impression (other than some rotor noise, which is a known compromise I was willing to make).

Got a rep from Acceptable-Royal-600 at the end of April, amazing transaction and fast. Got a NTTD Omega, when I received it, it was not the watch from the QC photos as the bracelet was broken and missing pieces and the watch face was scratched. I sent pictures to them was was told they’d just replace it. Well after weeks and constant messaging, I have not heard anything from them. Now if this was the same watch in the QC photos? I would have say no thank you as the watch was horrible quality and still is. Was told “put it in ice until I get a shipment in” and crickets. I haven’t worn it since and now have been blocked? I paid over 500 dollars? For something that doesn’t work? I need my money back or at least a message stating they haven’t received the replacement yet? But nothing. All month.

I recently bought a VSF Rolex OP 41 from James at Alternative Luxury and honestly couldn’t ask for a smoother experience. I usually buy 4-8 watch each month and have done business with every seller like Pingfan, Angela etc to some of the well established like Li,Elliot, Steve etc. with fairly large teams, but the customer obsession James demonstrates deserve a special shoutout. James was the first seller who kept me updated on shipping without I ever seeking an update - not once or twice - Every two days since I placed the order. My order was shipped within 24hrs and James always replied quickly before I placed the order and after I got the order he again followed up to ensure everything was as per my expectations. Great price, great communication, and just overall really really good service. Definitely a customer-first kind of seller. Highly recommend.

Good: Weight is very close to Gen, bracelet and case superb quality and indistinguishable from Gen imo. Dial and indices excellent.

Okay: Bezel colour a little darker than gen 18k YG but def not 'cheese'. Also helps that this design has no gold in the bracelet of course.

Bad: Rolex green logo far too small (compare pics). A really silly error that could easily be corrected and presumably will be.

But glad I got this and I would recommend no need to wait for other factories if it were not for logo size error. Tempted to wear it to my AD just to see look on his face...but would be found out and expelled pretty quickly.

Gen RRP £8k and because mortals have no chance of being allocated, likely to be £20k + on grey. Is that worth it? Def not. Is it the perfect candidate for a rep? Def yes because you will NEVER see a gen on anyone's wrist.

This is my first and only rep watch, a low tier Rolex Hulk. I didn't like it's bracelet so I put on a brown leather strap. I would love to a higher tier rep at some point though
