I used the DHL x BBDBuy truck line; it took 40 days to reach its destination—10 days longer than BBDBuy's estimate (in fact, I’m going to file a claim to get "compensated" for this delay with at least a €50 coupon). I paid €63 for 7.2 kg (about €8.50 per kg), which was the best price among all the agents. However, I wouldn't recommend using this line unless you aren't concerned about when the package arrives. Hey everyone, I received my Hubbuy haul today. The package weighed around 3.4 kg, shipping cost approximately €53, and it took 13 days to arrive.

The materials feel solid, and the finish is quite good. The material is soft, and although I haven’t worn them extensively yet, they already feel comfortable on my feet.

These are very high quality and feel really well-made. They’re quite heavy, but surprisingly comfortable to wear. In my opinion, I’d recommend sizing down, as they fit a little larger than expected.

Overall, I’m happy with the haul so far. I’ll update the post after wearing both pairs more and seeing how they hold up.

Been wanting a pair of GATs for a while and finally caved after MVT announced he was supposedlyclosing shop. Figured it was now or never, but he appears to still be selling most of his stuff. I'm not an MVT glazer, so I'll be honest about the flaws because there are definitely a few that still need to be addressed.

Let's start with sizing. I went with my usual size and they fit me just fine. I don't have particularly wide feet though. If you do, I'd probably recommend going up half a size just to be safe. I've seen quite a few people mention these are narrow, but personally I dont think this is an issue.

The leather quality itself is decent. It's nothing that blew me away, but it certainly doesn't feel cheap either. The laces are actually quite nice as well. They're close to retail, although the color isn't quite the correct shade if you're being picky.

So far everything sounds pretty positive.

So let's dive into the biggest issues of MVTs batch.

The soles
The biggest flaw by far is the sole color. It's noticeably darker than retail, and once you compare the two side by side it's probably the first thing you'll notice. If you're someone who cares about accuracy, this is easily the weakest point of the batch.

Shape
The overall shape also isn't quite there yet. The heel sits lower than it should compared to retail. To be fair, the latest batch is an improvement over the older one, where the heel was even lower, but it's still not correct. On foot this probably won't stand out much unless someone has a genuine pair right next to yours or really knows what they're looking for. What is a bit more noticeable though is the toebox, which still doesn't capture the retail shape particularly well. I only rank this lower because people might not notice, especially since you can wear longer pants and hide the heel.

The Suede
Another area that could use some work is the suede stitching. It's one of those details that probably flies under the radar for most people, but once you start comparing it to retail it becomes pretty obvious that it needs to be better.

Also note that they do have a NFC badge in the soles pretty close to the 22. However, these just lead you to the basic website and show now proof of autnenticity.

Overall, I don't think this is a bad pair, but it's definitely far from perfect. 

That being said, don't be too disappointed if you've been holding out for the perfect pair. This is till one of the better batches. And other sellers like WWTop are actively working on newer and more accurate versions. Hopefully we'll finally get a truly great batch in the near future.
