Bastards of Young at open mic :0)
This was my second ever open mic !! I’ve been trying to sneak in a mats song every week and last week it was Bastards of Young.
(Lmk if this is against subreddit rules and I will take it down!)

My record collection thus far. Everything is first press apart from stink (old pressing tho), hootenanny and all shook down.
I know I’m missing don’t tell a soul. I’ll get around to it lol.
I’ll post my cds at some point maybe. Don’t got any cassettes.
Stumbled upon this in an issue of Entertainment Weekly in 1996, around the time that 'Eventually' was released. Thought you all might enjoy having a hi-res scan of it. The scratches are part of the original artwork.
Most of my OG 12" stuff. Alas, the location of a couple more promo items currently elude me.

Tommy solo AND playing backed by Little Venom from Seattle.
I spent entirely too long working on this design!
Bob Mould, former member of that otherlegendary Minneapolis post-punk outfit Hüsker Dü, once remarked that if you were to see The Replacements play live on ten different occasions, “One of them you’re going to think they’re the greatest band that ever walked the face of the earth, and the other nine might degenerate into drunken covers”.
A member of the Paul Westerberg forum, funker, put together an unofficial rarities compilation titled "The Long Resterberg." Unfortunately, I am unable to contact the poster via the forum because my account has been left unverified, seemingly because the forum's moderators are inactive (never mind, forum mods are still active & approved my account!).
Does anyone here have a copy of the compilation that they could share (maybe even funker themself if they are also on here)---or know of a way to fully verify my account on the forum?

Micky Dolenz of The Monkees just released a cover of "(Tell Me) Who You Gonna Marry". Must be pretty cool for Paul, given how many times he has covered "Daydream Believer". And what an obscure choice.
I’ve posted me playing this cover from a different show but it’s nice to have in my back pocket for when there are fellow Mats fans at my gigs. It’s a fun one to (try and) howl.
