Sharing our latest custom project from the studio: a heavily reworked 3KF Nautilus 5711-110P-001 Platinum Charcoal Dial execution. These builds were a deep dive into refining the case architecture, finishing, and component matching to elevate the 5711 silhouette.

The Build Specs:

• Custom CNC Case featuring crisp, deep PT950 engravings.
• Gen-spec high-polish contrast, tight linear brushing, and complete edge softening/de-burring for an incredibly smooth, genuine on-wrist feel.
• 5 Micron Platinum plating to capture the correct, bright white precious metal luster.
• Custom TBR Lab Diamond baguette bezel.
• BUFF Custom Charcoal Dial, completely stripped of its stock baguette indices and re-set with matching lab-grown baguette stones.
• Custom hands paired with a perfectly aligned custom datewheel.

The heart of this project is a dual focus: achieving perfect custom CNC case geometry alongside a complete lab diamond transformation for both the bezel and the dial indices.

Instead of relying on the factory components or standard moissanite options commonly seen on these builds, we committed to full lab diamonds to guarantee authentic fire, clarity, and brilliance across the entire piece. The stock indices on the BUFF charcoal dial were replaced with hand-set lab diamond baguettes, perfectly matched to the flawless stones on the custom TBR baguette bezel.

On the structural side, we focused heavily on achieving proper case symmetry, ensuring the gem-set bezel sits completely flush with the mid-case while maintaining an ultra-thin profile. Every single link on the bracelet and every edge of the case went through a multi-stage softening process to eliminate the sharp "rep-feel" edges, followed by crisp re-brushing and mirror polishing.

Movement & Upgrade Options

The watch is built around the clone calibre, but for those looking to go max-spec, we offer an optional upgrade to a free-sprung ACE movement. This upgrade features full gen-spec architecture engravings and a solid gold rotor to match the premium exterior work.

I ordered a Franken model in mid-March, but due to issues with the gen parts, I eventually gave up on the Franken build and only received the watch this week.

For this particular model, I honestly don’t see any downsides. It is a great piece.

The WG DD I ordered in February currently has an issue with the bracelet, so it is being corrected. Once I receive the bracelet, I will write another review.

For those interested in the RG color, I intentionally did not take the photos under the strong lighting typically used in display booths. The color shown in the photos is very close to the actual color of the watch in real life and better represents its true RG tone.
