While I do not actively go out seeking people to revive, I do always carry a defib and do go out of my way once I see a downed dude/dudette. So I still consider myself a rescue raider.

Got my first kill from an extract camping rat, he was a noob and I was talking to him and gave him every chance to walk away. He shot me first as I was getting close to the extract, I took cover, he threw grenades that widely missed and pushed when he ran out and I even made sure I took a few hits first before I downed him.

So yes, after that I got thrown into 3 sweaty KOS lobbies in a row, so far, from EU/NA. It's BS and lies to manipulate you to get more PVE/carebear players to thinning aggro/cheater-filled lobbies.

I loaded into Blue Gate in an attempt to do a quest. Ran into reinforced and misjudged the zip line in a frenzy to escape pops…dropped to my death. Luckily, I have the survivor augment, but quickly realized I couldn’t crawl out of there due to the ledge at the bottom. Cool cool, I’ll just hang here and cry for help. Surely someone will come down…or up. A couple raiders came along but were unresponsive. They didn’t take me out so that’s nice.

Suddenly, I heard a friendly voice. The only voice I’ve heard since I’ve been stuck down here. This Raider wanted to help but didn’t have a defib, a fluke he says because he always has 2 on hand. That’s okay, he says he’s going to go find someone who does. Wow, so nice. I wish him good luck and continue calling out. Just stuck there. Now, I’ve been here since load in and we’re down to the last 9 min….when suddenly out of no where, my hero emerges. I’m revived and so grateful. (I don’t remember his name) “Dr. Johnson” actually found someone to come back for me!

I quickly run to the elevator and who do I hear calling out to hold it? “Dr. Johnson.” Sure enough, he sent someone for me and in the end, back to Speranza…together. 🤘🏼

I used to be a pvper. Ive got 60 knocks, and it has stayed at that. I then became a pve only guy. Only time i get a bad lobby is if i shoot back but usually i just let them kill me. Anyhow! Who knew being a combat medic in this game is maddddd fun? Like crazy fun!! 😭😭 omg i mentioned i had defibs and three people are crawling at my feet at the matriarch event. Never defibed so many sequentially. I dont get how you can let loot dictate how you act in this game. Who cares about money or weapons? I just wanna gave baddies in my ear over voicechat, and save bros. 🤙🏼
