Easy Delivery Co.

Easy Delivery Co.

recently got my flip and i’ve really been enjoying it. Never had an emulator before and i got it as a gift so usually i would do loads of research before buying but this time im jumping in completely blind, which has been fun!

i’ve been trying playing a few steam games, i know that not all of them will work and im not expecting them to, but is there any settings i can tweak, or anything that i can do to make easy delivery co run smoothly? i can play for about 20 minutes before it crashes and i loose my save.

it feels really nice to play on this device and if i should just give up with it please let me know, but i would love to know where to start with tweaking any settings.

i have gamehub and gamenative and they both do the same thing.
i have 8gb of ram

any advice would be much appreciated!

Finally got my Flip 2!

After a lot of research for a handheld that would replace my phone setup, I landed on the Flip 2 as my dedicated emulator device, and I'm so happy that I did. This form factor is amazing to carry around, and it's so satisfying to use it!

I'm currently playing Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force on PPSSPP and Pokemon Unbound on Pizza Boy, as soon as I have some time I will try some Game Cube/PS2 emulation in it, since I really want to play some Need for Speed. But what else can this little guy do? What games are you guys playing now that work flawlessly and make you feel surprised?

Retroid Pocket Flip 2 or RP6 as my first Android handheld?

I’m torn between the Retroid Pocket Flip 2 and the Retroid Pocket 6. I’ve never owned an Android handheld before, so I’m not sure which one would be the better first device.

I mainly want to play PSP, PS2, some Switch games, and PC games such as Garry’s Mod, Hollow Knight, Celeste, GTA V, GTA: San Andreas, The Sims 3, Subnautica, and Dying Light. I really love the Flip 2’s clamshell design and portability, but the RP6 seems significantly more powerful and would probably handle demanding games better.

Both devices appeal to me for different reasons, and I’m having a hard time deciding. I’m not interested in the AYN Thor because I specifically want a single-screen device.

For someone buying their first Android handheld, which one would you recommend? Is the Flip 2 powerful enough for this kind of use, or would the RP6 be the safer choice because of its extra performance and headroom?

Pocknix Desktop PIN?

I rebooted from Desktop mode in Pocknix and now its asking for a PIN.

I never set one up nor was I prompted in the install.

Cant reboot/shutdown from the menu, cant hard shutdown/reboot via the power key.

Is there a default PIN or any other option to restart/shutdown?

EDIT: Hard reset did work, not sure why it asked for a pin on restart as a second hard restart dropped into Desktop mode without a PIN request.

Things to do when upgrading SD cards?

So I've had a Retroid Pocket Flip 2 for a couple of weeks and while I currently have a 512 GB microSD card I'm considering getting a 1 TB before prices spike even higher, because I want to test out more PC games natively which take up a lot more space.

I have multiple SD card readers and good type C cables that reliably transfer files so I feel like I should be able to hook up my Flip 2 and a new SD card to my computer at once and transfer all the files over, but is there anything I should know or do before hand?

When I set my Flip 2 up I put all my BIOS and emulators on the internal storage with this in mind. Before my Flip 2 came I pre-installed a bunch of games onto my 512 SD card, but it corrupted soon after inserting it so I had to reformat it and re add the games again, so I'm a little scared of that happening again after transferring everything over. Any tips or advice is appreciated!

Sidenote, I'd be going from an A2 170 MB/s write speed to an A1 150 MB/s, are the speed differences gonna be noticeable?

3rd week with my Flip 2, I've been playing Wind Waker HD (CEMU) for 4 hours straight today, battery went from 85% to 25%

This week I've been testing a lot of configs to run it smooth on heavy areas with particles and lava. The key was on make a specific config for this game with Turnip drivers (26.0.0) lower the resolution to 720p, 50% shadow resolution, async shaders enabled, multi core mode and thread quantum between 80.000 and 100.000 (noticed a really good performance increasing this both last options)

I'm totally falling in love with this console, size, form factor, clamshell design, button layout, battery performance.

Ordering concerns

Hi all. I ordered my Pocket Flip 2 on the 7th but haven’t gotten any emails except to confirm my order. Can anyone tell me if this is normal for retroid?

Winlator

I have been trying to see what this device can do and have seen that people have gotten games to work through winlator. Now I am very new to this and I followed a guide on how to setup but it seems like I either missed/messed something up and I can't figure out how to have a game run good. For example I saw someone was able to play dark souls remastered and tried to get it to run but failed at every try. If anyone has any advice, tips, or recommendations for getting a game to run it would be much appreciated. And if anyone has had success with a game running using winlator please let me know what game so I can at least see if games that people have tried and were successful at running the game to see if I can recreate that. Any and all advice is welcome and once again VERY appreciated 👍

Adding custom textures for Retroid Pocket Flip 2 on Wii

I'm experimenting with Dolphin, and I want to see if I can create a texture pack for RPF2. I'd like to ask for advice on one last step: I'd like to know if anyone knows how to change the orientation of the blue lines to match the RPF2 image.

Which lightweight Secret Console games work on the Flip 2 without having to mess with settings?

Just wondering what plug and play games there are that are pretty lightweight so hopefully don't tax the battery too much.

For instance, has anyone tried Plants vs Zombies Replanted? Or the Shadow of Doubt games? Or Worms Armageddon?

Flip vs standard RP version

So I was kind of new to the handheld world when I jumped into the RP5. But then they released the Flip 2 (which as a noob, I had no idea was coming). I feel like I would have preferred that device and would have played it more than my RP5 (more comfortable hold? better portability with the clam shell? All just speculation on my part). I am now wondering if they will release a Flip3 and if I should get it if the dp. Does anyone own both a Flip and RP style and which do you prefer? It's so hard to tell without being able to hold them in your hands or see them in person. Pros vs cons?

Will there be a single screen flip 3?

With the industry seeming to go towards dual screens and with the rumors will there even be a single screen 16:9 flip 3 released? I specifically was looking for a clamshell, 16:9, single screen device where ideally it'd have the more powerful internals from the rp6 instead.
