I have gone weeks without a job. I know I’m a lowly doc reviewer, but I still need to eat. All of a sudden the recruiters and pings have gone silent. What little posts I see, I respond to, but the jobs never seem to materialize. Several Consilio projects I was recruited for got cancelled before they started. I have tried to apply for AI training jobs because I am desperate. One firm isn’t taking on people from my geographic area and one firm wanted my driver’s license info in the recruitment form! What can I do? I do not have the big firm experience. I have just been a doc reviewer.

Some former friends of mine, fraternity brothers, etc are partners at major firms, counsel at big corporations. I’m too embarrassed to even talk to them as I’d likely have to reveal what a failure I am.
