The X-Files theme intro might still be the greatest ever.

What actually beats this iconic intro? The music, the effects, the ’90s sci-fi vibe, that eerie sense of wonder and feeling that something is out there. Haunting, mysterious, instantly recognizable. And that’s before even getting into how groundbreaking, atmospheric, and genuinely great the show itself was. What are your core memories of The X-Files in the ’90s? Were you a fan, did your parents or family watch it? Did it scare you, or were you never really into it?

anyone else a chronic rewinder?

i prefer to watch movies + tv shows on my own because i rewind scenes so often, like if a movie is an hour and a half long it’ll take me maybe 3 hours to watch it because i just want to see all of the details and the actors expressions and ill just keep rewinding a scene until im satisfied. i keep it to 1-3 rewinds if im watching something with someone but when im by myself i do it maybe a hundred times

Best Matthews family moment
