We do not know MBB or Benny, they do not owe us explanations for anything we do. If you disagree with what they are doing or who they surround themselves with, unfollow them! Stop listening to ride! Don't watch Season 2 of Overcompensating! The parasocial relationships some of you have with these two are realllllly concerning.

Yes, she’s our fave - we wouldn’t be thinking about her this much if we didn’t LOVE and respect her. And yes, she has acted in a way that has fundamentally surprised and disappointed a majority of us. So, doesn’t it make sense for us to talk about it, question it, commiserate in it all together and discuss this MBB “update” with other like-minded Baronies? It’s a fabulous idea to support the Palestine orgs posted by Mod in the pinned post but…… that’s obviously not an equivalence to The Act of Sharing Opinions And Opening Dialogue In The Community (which is the literal point of Reddit)? I think we are all capable of differentiating between constructive criticism/hurt/concern and unnecessary hate, and frankly, I think if there wasn’t so much censorship surrounding this topic, it probably would’ve blown over by now, spare for a few threads for interested participants. Meanwhile, telling upset Baronies to “touch grass” and encouraging their removal is only furthering this conversation, non?

So my question is, why are so many of yall trying to “protect” the sub from this convo? It’s a bit CMON KERPLUNK toxic positivity. Does anyone have anything else they’d rather talk about rn? I've seen this happen before also and the mods got themselves removed and others put in place. You'll kill the sub because they will stop recommending it out and people won't engage.

For example one of my my best friends revealed herself to be a Zionest and the friend group dumped her. Did I? Fuck no. I've spent our entire friendship trying to understand Judaism.I love her! Also? My dad! Voted for Trump bc he is a wacky RFK jr fan. I cried my fucking eyes out, folks! We are still okay w each other.

There are lots of ways through and backwards for understanding that it's not always bad to be a person living a fine life and doing the right thing for whatever they need

Why is it that people often assume women are politically “led” by the men they date, instead of seeing them as fully autonomous people with their own convictions?

You can disagree with Lucas Bravo, criticize his choices, whatever..but it’s crazy how quickly people reduce a politically outspoken woman into someone who must be compromising her beliefs because of a man.

Why can’t she still fully believe what she’s always believed? Are women not capable of holding firm political convictions regardless of who they date?

I feel like we can criticize him without infantilizing her.

I’m having a hard time understanding why people are so quick to call MBB’s new man a Zionist and also so quick to berate her for dating him.

All the posts I see are about how outspoken she’s been and how leftist she is and yet nobody seems to think that because she is that, that she would vet this man’s opinions and trust her judgement regarding that. Why are we so quick to dismiss HER when she has only shown us to be level-headed? She is the one having conversations and interactions with him, not us, not the general public, so why are so many people quick to assume we know his thoughts on the matter, and worse, assume MBB has been lying?

Additionally, all I’m seeing is that he did a fashion ad for a brand in Israel and has a therapist there? Unless I actually missed something about him supporting the genocide. To assume all people in Israel support what’s going on is a bad take. That’s like saying all Americans are trump supporters because we live here??? It’s a dangerous mindset to have and quite jarring considering the baronies are so open-minded and progressive and generally critical thinkers.
