I heard she got a buff that made her dash easier but ruined her higher rank combos.

But I also heard this season is a brawling season and Magik had some decent brawling capacity iirc.

So... how is Magik recently for ya'll?

Hi, I'm slowly trying to branch out to other roles and characters, and I really enjoy going up against Magik players, and sadly, I barely see Magik users. I stay away from "dive" characters because they seem difficult to use. I am an extremely basic gamer, I am not good at combo's or anything crazy. I really like the look of Magik and her gameplay. I would like to start using her but I want to know if I should rather just use someone else, also, if I do use her and I don't dive, are my teammates going to nuke me? And if there are any tips and tricks or content creators I should watch to get better with her, I would appreciate it.

When ever I watch magik players 1vs1, or play in general, they always look so fast

I feel so slow, I feel like I'm doing this slow jog everywhere while you guys are teleporting and swirling around like nothing

I looked up combos but a lot of variations in game that I have no idea what you guys did that killed me so quick that I can't find in a video

The only other issue I have is the demon, when ever I place it everyone seems to easily avoid it, but when I'm fighting you guys it's like I can't help but even touch it a tiny bit.

It sounds so funny to say but flyers are legit my favorite target as magik. For a bunch of reasons really. Starting with, a lot of people tend to switch to flyers to counter a magik, thinking “she’s a melee fighter she can’t touch me up here.” , following that up with the amount of tilt I can get out of someone who is a flyer and constantly dying to a magik is a joy that’s hard to describe. They are also naturally isolated from their team, unless they play on the ground.

I play dpspool, dd, ironfist, bp and other dps like torch starlord bucky. Why does magik feel so different? Like should i just brawl instead?

Celestial PC player here maining her since season 2.

Right now with dps having shields she can't barely confront Elsa or even star lord.

Triple supports is still a problem for her

Black cat has better tools and escape than her is absurd

There is a plenty of Bucky players in that elo so of course she's instacountered.

She needs some buffs urgently or at least tone down the stupid dps shields.

The game right now has serious balance problems. Even the famous kingsman constantly swap magik in his matches for other picks like dumb Elsa, invis or daredevil.

Friends, I'm a Rogue main and I've wanted to learn to play my compatriot Illyana for a long time. The problem is that all the combo videos I find for her are from seasons 1-2 and are outdated. Please share current combos and maybe some tips. Thanks in advance.
