Hi everyone!

I recently moved to Exit 8 and I'm looking for kitchen cabinets for my apartment. A colleague mentioned that people who are leaving Saudi Arabia sometimes give away or sell their furniture and kitchen items at very low prices.

Does anyone know where I can find these kinds of listings or if there are any groups, websites, or communities for this? If anyone has kitchen cabinets available or can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

I was standing right outside a residential building around 1am in AlYarmouk - overlooking a main, busy street btw - A car pulled up with tinted windows and the passenger riding in the back rolled down the window (he was a young male who looked very suspicious) he asked me if i needed a ride. I was on the phone so i just ignored him. He then proceeded to ask me to come in. When i kept on ignoring. The person in the passenger seat rolled down the window (a hijabi woman who looked very normal) and said "Come with us". Only then did i freak out and went back inside. I thought it was the normal catcalling situation at first. But once i saw the woman sitting at the front, i got really freaked out. I'm not sure if they were locals but they looked and sounded like it tbh.

I had friends tell me AlYarmouk is sketchy like that. The encounter wasn't normal and they were probably up to no good (trafficking/kidnapping). Although, what kinda gang would ask a woman to get in the car and expect her to just hop in?

FYI: i'm not from Riyadh, i was only visiting.

Single, 25Female - Moving to Riyadh soon, looking for options in Olaya or nearby. (Office is in Olaya). Family lives in Jeddah. Particularly looking for serviced/furnished apartments.

1. should i look for women-only apartment options or normal (parents are prefering women only)

2. is it more advisable to first live for 1-2days then look around for apartments before committing online?

Range: 2500-3500 max 4000 sar. [Is this okay for a furnished aprtment]

I am particularly looking for layouts where washroom and kitchen are not together..

P.s i have already checked Aqar, Bayut etc. Any other tips would be great.

Indian expat, worked for a private company in Riyadh. I resigned in late 2025 after several months of unpaid salary. I filed a wage complaint with HRSD, which was accepted, and a non-payment violation is registered against the employer. After that, the employer filed criminal complaints against me involving financial allegations, and a precautionary travel ban was placed on me.

Everything remains at the investigation stage: nothing referred to court, no indictment, and I hold a current criminal clearance certificate showing no record. I dispute the allegations entirely and have submitted detailed documentary defences with full bank-record reconciliations. My view is that the complaints are leverage in the labour dispute, but I will let the process decide that.

What I am looking for:

Recommendations for a strong criminal defence lawyer in Riyadh with genuine experience at the Public Prosecution stage in financial and employment-related matters, and with lifting precautionary travel bans. DMs welcome.

Anyone who has been through an employer-retaliation situation in KSA: how did it resolve and roughly how long did it take?

Realistic fee ranges so I can benchmark what I am being quoted.

أنا متأكد انه السبب رخص اللحم الروسي، و اي شخص يبحث في اللحوم يعرف انه اللحم الروسي رديء و الفحوصات دايما تجد فيه بقايا مضادات حيوية و علاجات ومعاييرهم ما توصل لحم من استراليا او نيوزلندا

إذا عرفوا المطاعم انه الناس يهمها مصدر اللحم راح تحرص على الجوده، لكن إذا الناس ما فرقت معاها ما راح تهتم. اسالو من وين اللحم؟

I’m 17 and applying for a private driving license in Riyadh. I’m trying to book my first driving school appointment through Absher, but every time I check it says:
“Sorry, there are no appointments available for booking at this point of time. Please try again later.”
I’ve been checking multiple times a day but haven’t had any luck finding an available slot.
For those who recently booked a driving school appointment in Riyadh:
Is there a specific time of day when new appointments are released?
Do slots usually open after midnight or early in the morning?
How long did it take you to find an appointment?
Any tips for getting a slot faster?
