Was their road rage valid?

So this is the first time someone actually yelled at me through their car and I am so confused what I did wrong. I was at a yield turn light (flashing yellow) trying to make a U-turn but there was constant oncoming traffic that was going straight I couldn’t safely make the U-turn (esp as i tend to turn wide for a U-turn), so i didn’t actually go until the light turned green. Then I make the U turn and a car behind me pulls up next to me and starts screaming. His face got so red like a tomato. Anyways I had my window rolled up so idk exactly what he said, but it was something like “YOU HAD THE RIGHT OF WAY” or “I HAD THE RIGHT OF WAY”. Mind you, i was sitting at the light for max 5-6 minutes and its early morning ( 6:30 AM as I am coming back from a night shift). So i am just confused as to what right of way he had.

I have bad road rage

I’m highly impatient in traffic and will
blow the horn as soon as the light changes (green). I got places I need to be at. It’s ridiculous how people drive these days .

Car park spot stealer 17th May 12.20pm SLA2981H @ 281 Bukit Batok East Ave 3

This carplate number SLA2981H. Driver in his 60s white hair old man , sluggish skinny looking man in his shades. Parks into a slot immediately upon the previous driver leaving , does not have a single bit of courtesy to see if there is any other driver patiently waiting for their turn.

I was the annoyed driver who waited amidst the heavy traffic during lunch time. Turned driving to reverse gear , on my hazard light to indicate intention of reversing and parking. Horned twice for the driver to note what is ahead when he could have probably not noticed.

I left the driver's seat and walk towards him. He can casually look into his side mirror as he reverse slowly into the lot. Walks out of his vehicle with no intention to clarify things further.

Fret not , if he's an old man with any difficulties , by all means no problem , drivers' etiquette , gentleman gestures goes a long way. No , he is a healthy man who simply cares for himself at his own interest. Period.

SLA2981H How would you describe such experience? Anything for bad drivers who have no etiquette to learn from?

Potholes, why don't we bother reporting them anymore?

Recently read a stat that says most people don't report potholes but the council legally has to repair category 1 potholes within 24 hours so if we actually reported them, we might get somewhere.

People probably assume that, someone has already reported it, it's no use or it's too complicated.

Odd "road rage" today. It's as if the guy was looking for a confrontation.

I did absolutely nothing to provoke this; I suspect one day this guy is going to mess with the wrong person.

I was on a rural four-lane road with a 55mph speed limit with no other traffic on it. I was approaching a car going about 40mph. I switch to the passing lane at least 8 car lengths behind the guy using my signal. After I passed, I left about 7-8 car lengths before returning to the travel lane again, using my signal. Textbook driving rules.

So this guy decides he needs to pass me. No big deal except he slows back down to 40mph and rides his brakes. I pass again, and he repeats. This happened four times before I arrived at the road I needed to turn onto. I wonder what would cause this guy to be such an idiot? People have been shot dead for less.

Road Rager Followed Me into an Bagel Shop

I am going to be sharing one of my multiple road rage stories (I live in state notorious for these type of drivers).

Note: This is the only one where I was the driver. Other times I was passenger witnessing it

It took place a year ago. I was driving to bagel shop before work when I received a call from my grandma who was asking for an address. I turned into entrance to empty business so I could quickly text it.

When I was leaving, I accidentally didn’t turn sharp enough and accidentally went a little bit into second lane (which was my bad). Some honked at me (which was deserved) and I internally berated myself before literally going over 2 stops to bagel place.

Additional Note: To explain how I managed do that. The exit had one of the wider exits where you typically don’t need much turn to get in the lane correctly. I was trying to be cautious but I misjudged it.

Additional Note: As a commenter told me to word it better, the one that honked at me is not the one who chased me into the bagel place. It was a lady in the second lane, who I mouthed apologies too and she nodded that it was ok.

I got back on the phone with my grandma, made my order, and was waiting when an older man came in afterwards. He hovered over me and I moved cause I thought I was blocking the line or something. He then went over to staff yelling. While on the phone, I noticed he was pointing at me. I ignored it think it was nothing, then said goodbye. As I was listening to the music, the guy came over to me and the said “you could have hit someone you know.”

I looked at him confused before this man started screaming about texting and driving and how I should have license and other foul things. Since I’m a relatively small woman, I just froze and then said “ok.” Before getting my order and running out of there.

Apparently, he was the one who honked at me and decided he would turn around and follow me into a shop to confront me.

It honestly scared the living hell out of me. The staff just watched him do this to me as well, which was worse cause he went over to them to scream to them about me. I haven’t been able to go into that bagel shop since.

Got food thrown at me today

For context, I was driving home after a long walk, and there is this intersection where there are two left turn lanes. I was in the far-right left-turn lane, and when the light turned green, I began to drive within the boundaries of my lane. The car to my left hand side begins to veer into my lane, which caused me to reflexively put two tires on the sidewalk while simultaneously beeping for 5 seconds until he realized that he was cutting me off. I throw my hands up gesturing to the guy “what the hell are you doing”, to which he does the same.

Here’s where it gets interesting. This ramp that we both turned into leads to a highway, and as I merged onto the highway, the guy zooms past me, merged back in front of me, and throws food at my car. The dumbass didn’t even hit my car, instead napkins and food just went flying everywhere. he probably failed physics or some shit if he thought his plan would work. I assess the situation, and realize that there’s no point in following this guy if my car was fine, the tires were fine, I was fine, so I just left it at that.

So I guess my question is, what charges if any could this individual have gotten for doing what he did?

Reckless driving and then this

Tl,dr: she hit the gas hard in a merge lane and tried to cut in front, almost got 2 other cars into an accident. Then she got to the red light, rolled down her window, and smile like a maniac.

So I would like to preface this by saying I am 100% in the wrong. I drive a sports car and sometimes people want to race beside me on an empty high way but it’s never crazy.

Someone pulled up next to me so thought that’s what he wanted. A car braked in front of me and I panicked and swerved to the left cutting him off.

I was incredibly stupid and reckless and it was 100% my fault.

He then proceeded to follow me for about half a mile and I pulled over thinking he just wanted to pass me or something. He pulled next to me and started screaming. I apologized and then he screamed more and started punching his window. I sped off and he followed me a little more than broke off.

If he got my plate can he find where I live? I’ve never seen someone that unhinged and crazy before. Definitely learned my lesson and even if someone wants to I’m not going to do anything of the sort anymore.

I’m just deeply scared for my family and my safety.
