That creepypasta is really old, from 2013 to 2018 on Roblox... but I saw it... it tried to kill me but I escaped, but his other victims didn't... it lures new players for its own benefit...

I work on a myth that deals a lot with cosmic horror, and I was curious if any myths had already successfully pulled off cosmic dread and the like.

Most myths I see nowadays are more similar to glorified roleplay games, which isn't a problem by itself, communities change with time and that's fine. But it does feel like actually ''scary'' myths are fewer and farther between.

I'm fairly new to the community, but I've spoken to many ''veterans'', which is partly how I formulated my thesis.

Sorry if this looks like rambling, I don't write like this very often.
