Im 19 usa severs plat 2 to 3 ive made it to diamond but I feel like im slowly getting worse and worse I did just change my keybinds recently but ive gotten used to them so I need someone to help coach me and lmk if im doing things right
For context, I have two accounts on rocket league, my main account which I play with my friend on and he is a diamond player at best (currently diamond 3 high- champ low) keep stuck there.
On my other account I am a champ 1 high/ champ 2 player with my other mate but he stopped playing the game due to getting a girlfriend (you wouldn’t think we were pushing 20 and having these issues) anyway I feel like playing with my mate currently is fun and all but he has no intention of trying to get better and I get bored of carrying him with the off chance he pulls off a good performance, should I just play more on my own on my second account which is now higher than my main or idk?
Peaked at C1 long ago, stopped playing for years though. Came back like a week ago and I’ve done my placements and got P3 in 2s and 3s. Solo queuing is a nightmare just like the good ol days, would love some homies to run games with. No kids please.

I'm a late 30s male looking for someone to play with consistently. Generally float around diamond 2 div 2 in 2s and same in 3v3. I do play hoops too but rank is variable in that. I'm not interested in playing with young kids, so 30+ please.
I do not care about what mechanics you can or can't do, just play good defense and rotate well. If collecting 300 boost is more important to you than knowing pad paths, we will not be a good match.
Not interested in playing with stoners or binge drinkers.

I am based in the Mountain Standard Time (MST) time zone. I generally play in the evenings, anywhere from 4pm to 10pm. I sometimes do have the option to squeeze in a couple games during the day as I work from home.
At the end of the day, Rocket League is just a game, and a fun one. But the ideal goal is to ideally get to C1. Losses happen, and mistakes happen: I make plenty of them. Having fun, and being transparent as a teammate is important to me. Constructive feedback is something I expect from you, and vice versa.

Hey, i play rocket league everyday and don’t have a duo anymore. Started a few months ago but still stuck gold. Wanted to find someone with whom i can grind to get to plat and win tournaments. I peaked Gold 3 in 2s and 1s. Looking for someone who is at least Gold 1-2 or has that level
I cannot avoid to get tilted by trying EVERYDAY to soloqueue in 3s. Even tho' I try my best everyday, I get hardtrolled, afks everywhere, people not knowing to rotate properly, ballchasers, overcommiters, etc...
I try to play safe, to be last man while I let them ballchase as they want, but even if I try to be patient and not overcommit with them, I end losing the game anyway.
I'm getting so frustrated everyday. I was D2 and now I'm SUFFERING to avoid being PLAT1 for example.
I cannot believe the only way is to queue with friends or at least to NOT SOLOQUEUE.
I don't touch 2s because I prefer to play 3s and I let the 2s on D2 till' I try to reach CHAMP or be close at least on 3s.

Um, I’m a flick one-trick, so my only real way to score by myself is through flicks. My fastest flick is 122 kph and I’m very consistent with them. I have extremely good movement and can do every recovery mechanic, including backwards zap-dashes coming down from the wall. I also have great defensive technique, good positioning, and I actively think about how to make my tm8 better. I study pros and learn from my mistakes really quickly, so I’m very adaptive. Also i must state that yes i can do wall recoveries which is really just an improvised mena dash but people often dont categorize the two and they are VERY common in my play.
Ideally, I want a really mechy person to make up for my lack of offense. I’m great at keeping possession and taking 50s. Honestly, the higher skill you are, the better I’ll naturally play because of my fundamental playstyle. If I can, I’ll always force for you and I don’t like leaving my 2nd man in 1v1s. I’m also the type of 2nd man who encourages you to heat check and frag out, and I enjoy passing to you more than scoring myself. I also love to play backboard and can. I play shadow defense ALOT pretty much my only defense because i apply constant pressure with fake challs and if i can get you off the ball for free or hit it away from you i will. I am very intuitive lol
If you want a reference for how I play 1s, just watch the retired pro Okhalid. I play pretty much just like him. All I do is steal boost and save mine using my mechanics, and once you’re low boost and give me space, I can flick it into your net pretty easily lol. I can also do redirects.
I’m very good at giving advice, I don’t really get mad, and I’m very understanding and compassionate. I also have a great sense of humor and I have experience with comms and am above average at them. I’m a very fast learner and I’m good at adapting.
Some bad tendencies I have are that sometimes I overextend too far up the field looking for the pass. I also depend on my movement mechanics a lot, so if there’s a chance that I mess up, it can sometimes be detrimental to my positioning.another one is sometimes when someone is air dribbling i mistime my challenge and this is due to the fact that i simply don't have that much experience with them but like i stated before i have great defensive technique so alot of times this isnt a problem lol

I watch all rocket league content and im hopeful that one day i find i friend that will watch and discuss pro scrims or any rl content with me but thats just a wish. I aspire to be a content creator that spreads positivity and makes people laugh and i have a deep understanding on how to get there but i am restricted financially
